Country roads? They need grass growing up the middle to be classed as country over here😂 I like watching/reading about WWII, very interesting. So, how soon until that R12S arrives in your garage? 😂 Every bike is my last bike, or so my wife thinks😂😂😂 Love that RE of yours Jerry, beautiful 👌
There is still massive interest in the WW2 history and battle locations here in the UK. Its a relatively short hop over the channel to see many of the locations. A channel I follow called 'Follow the Beard' very recently posted an excellent vlog doing just that. I think a video from the auction should be very interesting. We got lots of views from our Stafford Classic Auction. The key for us was finding a few interesting bikes, doing the walk around and then posting the eventual sold price. I think people love guessing what they are worth while watching. Watching you ride those roads, I'm amazed there aren't more accidents at those cross junctions. You could easily go straight over at speed and have a bad accident. 😮 Virtually every road here has had the junction staggered so you can only cross without stopping in one direction.
@@Banditmanuk I visited the memorials while living in Belgium in 1986. I was very impressed on how neat and tidy they have been kept. I lived just a few miles from Dinant where the German forces stopped. The people of Belgium were the best hosts and nary an egg or paint was thrown our way.😄 Most of the warriors from all sides from that battle have passed away but all those crosses brings home the costs of battle. Yes we have had accidents at these intersections but mostly by impaired teenagers late at night.....reminds me of someone jumping bridges at 90 mph at night with the lights off.😁😁
Great ride out Jerry on the Royal Enfield Classic Chrome. Where's all the twisty sections with narrow lanes and Potholes just for good measure. Interesting how our country roads are completley different than yours over there. As for Christmas, This year I consider myself fortunate enough to have most things I need in life, and hope that those without will get something they really need. A box of chocolates would do me fine. Wish you and your Family a very Happy Christmas and a Healthy, Prosperous New Year. Cheers
The lack of population in Idaho keeps the road traffic down and most our roads were only built a hundred or so years ago. A lot of your UK roads were built by the dang Romans.😁😁 You need to treat yourself to at least one great present for Christmas.
No plans for presents this year. Might buy an electric generator. I own 2 gas generators and don't even use them, but I guess that is good.😂 as far as the R 12 S , you have my support. Beautiful bike. Hope you and the family have a great Christmas! 🎅
I do love bikes with center stands but they are putting catalytic converters down there now for some bikes and there isn't room anymore for a center stand.
If I had that bike with no gas gauge, all of my videos would be about running out of gas. Dang, looks a little nippy for a Texan, but anything lower than 80 is I was listening to everything you said but I kept watching that grizzly that would almost catch up to you and ....you'd pull away lol
The R12 is really nice looking. Those R12s are quite small though which surprised me. I'm hoping to do more BMW content next year but it's all down to time. You're monetise near getting to last bike territory yet, I hope you never will even if you end up on a scooter.... No one can say I'm getting to my last bike, then get on a Rocket and do 150mph 😂😂🚀 I'm also looking for some new textiles.
I'm sure your textiles will be more stylish. I think I'll go black this time on the color. I don't mind a small bike as long as I've got something bigger when I need it. We won't see the R12S here unless someone orders one so I'm depending on some road tests.......hopefully yours.
So that's your country roads🤣Some of our main roads are not as big as those haha. I do like the 500 in that colour scheme, it is a work of art.
Alex our roads are a bit wider but some of yours go back to the Romans and have character.

Nige I think my van may have to go after Bonneville to get that R12S. Oh dear that is a tough decision 😞
@flatcapcaferacer 🤣🤣

Blake you will be a hit with the neighbors with that many generators in the Hurricane season. Merry Christmas to you too .

I hope to get a centerstand for my UGS. Unfortunately, now with 2 young kiddos, Santa is me!...Might be a birthday gift...

Roger I used to have a bicycle type contraption that I put in the mileage at fill-ups but lost it somewhere.

How long did the Battle of the Bulge take start to end ? I saw that brown truck.
Technically December 16th through to January 25th.. I think by December 26th the die was cast because of Allied air power.
