Our 2023 Renegade Vienna's Coleman mach a/c unit started shutting down after 6 months of heavy Florida heat. Went up on the roof today and found all 6 compressor fan blades lying on the bottom of the unit. Called Coleman and they were great. Sending us a new one that I will install. If you can't do the basic repairs plan on a big budget and long wait time.
I always say when every you go on an extended rv trip pack a credit card for gas,a credit card for fun, and a credit card with the largest credit limit and zero balance ce for repairs. And your FMCA Coach-net card and your health insurance cards. You can handle anything
when i saw you talking about the emblem on your steering wheel not being centered i knew right away all you needed to do was get the front end allined i wish i knew sooner i would have let you know
I just called Truma water heater company about needed repair. In the area here in Croton-On-Hudson, Truma stated that Gerber RV is their trained technician location. They had an open date in mid-June, a month earlier than RV One in CT. Without being negative about past experience, I am happy to switch to Gerber.
Our diesel pusher has 365's on the front. Those two cost what your 6 tires cost. It has 10 4D AGM batteries not counting the battery for the generator, 4 heat pumps, etc... At 17 years old it needs constant attention and funds to keep up. We love our coach and lifestyle and hope to continue traveling in retirement. You are fortunate to have a great repair center close to you. I have one too but they stay booked up. It's the nature of the beast. Really appreciate your channel. Thanks again.
Great video. We have our warranty with Easy Care. So far no major problems (knock on wood) Y'all certainly supply good information for RVers everywhere.
Izzy and MJ another great video! I’m so glad you have Whole Sale Warranty. It you in the long run. So glad they came to your rescue. If you did t gave that you would be paying out a lot more so I’m glad you have it. Now it’s like you have a brand new Rv. Nellie is as beautiful now as she was when you first got her. If not she’s more beautiful. I’m glad they have something like that Whole Sale warranty for Rvs. It comes in handy.
The steering wheel on our Pursuit (on a F-53 V-8 chassis) is always tilted as if pulling left. I've had it laser-aligned, but to no avail. I intend to adjust the steering stabilizer ... again, and hopefully that will do it, because there's only so much adjustment. But frankly, of all the annoyances, this is the least.
My HWH leaving jacks are the most difficult. We had replaced on Feb this year with 2 new in rear of coach and now driver side rear not working again. Unable to level and getting fixed. HWH did send replacement fast but can’t get service to fix. So we travel and level with 2x12’s . I have 2007 Tiffin Phaeton 36QSH . Also no warranty.
Great video guys! I appreciate the info. I'll always get the extended warranty. I just used mine on my F-150... $100 deductible versus $1100 to fix the A/C. I'll be honest, I'm starting to think maybe skip the RV and get one of those inflatable glamping tents lol I still have 3 years to see how things shake out lol
We purchased a 2022 Coachman Pursuit June 10, 2022. It’s built on a 2020 Ford F53 chassis. I’ve had our motorhome aligned 3 times so far and it still tracks right, hard. The steering wheel is centered, but you cannot take your hands off the wheel for a second!!
Hi Izzy and MJ! Great video! That shine on Nellie is so bright I had to put my sunglasses on over here! We have had our 5th wheel for 5 years and this is the year for tires as well 😬. We do all of our own maintenance like silicone and roof sealant, slide seal lube, packing wheel bearing, brakes, etc. Its great to have a welder/fabricator/mechanic as a husband! But with that we save a lot of money doing repairs ourselves. Thanks for the great video! Safe travels!
Hi, guys, we have a 2012 Georgetown 360 DS and you are right about stuff taking a crap at the worst time. I had a warranty on my rig for the first 10 years and only used it once the bill wasn't that bad and we paid about 5,500.00 for it back in 2012 so I contacted these guys about a warranty and it was over 7,000.00. With a lot of prayers and a bunch of luck hopefully, we can get another 10 out of George without any major stuff going wrong. I probably just jinxed myself but anyway love your videos and have fun and stay safe.
we honeymooned in the Pocono's in 87' great spot- the more I watch the more I think we're going to score a deal in Tampa next year on a Diesel pusher - we don't need it in flat Texas but dayum that Ford Chassis
This is the first time I've head of Wholesale Warranty. We bought a 2003 Beaver Marquis. One of the issues is we had very little maintenance records that came along with the RV. We are, what I would say is playing catch up. We'll have the RV 3 years. The largest single Item is having the radiator replaced. I had the fluid tested a couple on months after we owned the RV, the test came back all is good. I am not sure the test is an accurate test. From my perspective the test is missing something. From now on every 3-5 years change the fluid.
We bought a new camper two years ago and purchase the extended warranty through good Sams. Fortunately, for us we have not had any problems so we have not had to use the warranty. My renewal is coming up and I was wondering if you’ve ever heard any feedback from goodsams ? Enjoy your videos. Thank you. Chris
MJ and Izzy, you guys are exceptional in many ways, this is another great video! Glad to hear that Wholesale Warranty is the real deal. And Nellie looks phenomenal, like a brand new coach! Happy (and break down free) trails to you!
I have the same issue with alignment on my F53...I've always felt though that it's due to always being the slowest on the road and living in the right lane which is sloped for water runoff. I don't experience it in the passing lane.
No extended warranty on our rigs. First one was a used 1996 Itasca class A that we had to sell after four years because it was having major repairs for the chassis every year and parts were becoming obsolete. Spend over a thousand dollars chasing a generator problem - on which most of the parts were obsolete. Upgraded a few years ago to a used 2013 Tiffin and so far the only issue has been the rear AC failed. I do put a side money every month for repairs and maintenance. Soon it will be time for tires and batteries. As we approach ten years old I would only expect things to start failing. It's cheaper to replace and upgrade the items rather than buy the 2023 Kountry Star I love... a lot cheaper! For another video the guy asked about cost of total ownership. I totaled everything it costs for ownership and use the RV 16 times per year. Without the monthly payment on the motorhome, that's a veritable, it's just under $2K per month to own and use it. If you are going to get into this you have to have deep pockets. We use the motorhome 95% for dog shows. If it was not for that and the convenience of being on the show grounds - I would not have a RV. Just camping is not that attractive to me. I miss traveling outside of the USA because of the expense of the dog shows.
don't call me stupid , but I had a truck that did this. I took it to a front end alignment place and they fixed it. A different time I had to pay them to pull the steering wheel and that was the only way it could be corrected.
Nellie looks awesome. I just spent 5 hours on my beast this week. She looks just as good now. Love my snap-pads. Always tell people who don't have them they should really invest in them. Soft starts also worth the money. Should have mentioned expecting the $1000 entrance fee for showing up at the shop. Not cheap on labor around Midwest either.
Full timing .. rv maintenance is literally everyday.. all rubber seal/ lap sealant / slides and slide mechanisms / wheel bearing service (towables) tires / plumbing leaks (will happen) . Washing / waxing .. roof cleaning & maintenance . Keeping up on condensation. And on and on.. but love our toy hauler and full time RVing. Freedom, views, experiences, adventures. If your not handy and can fix even minor issues, you will go broke RVing ….
Never truer words are spoken. I've worked with the elderly moving into their vehicles. I tell them all if they don't know how to do maintenance, or don't want to learn, or don't have the strength to do it, then get the newest vehicle you can afford. Full-time on the road gets expensive the older the rig, and the more amenities you feel you need, if you don't know how to maintain it yourself.
Would like to know if motor vehicle insurance is expensive as in collision, comprehensive etc. And do the rates fluctuate between a $500.000 and 1.2 million coach, I would expect you would need to add that cost to ownership. Keep up the good work.
I guess having that insurance is a must. You two are making me rethink buying an RV. I wonder which would be more reliable. Diesel pushers, Class super C, 5th Wheel, or travel trailer. Do you know which is closer to maintenance free?
Hi. Izzy and MJ. Does Whole Sale Warranty cover 5th Wheels? By the way, great information. Nellie looks amazing. You guys look great, too. By the way, I am looking up Whole Sale Warranty from your channel. Thanks.
You are correct. The only reason we have an RV is because of our pets. We don't want to put them in a kennel for 2 or 3 weeks while we travel. It is an expensive hobby, plus a lot of work. Just getting it ready is a time consuming job. Plus, when you factor the insurance, registration and constant maintenance it would be cheaper to just stay in nice B&B's along your route or hotels. Add in lousy gas mileage and even the cost of a night at a campground. Yep, it's fun for a while but it does get old. When our puppies pass, our RV will be going too.
Good video 😊but just saying you're rig is good but that's f53 chassis is a cut Away put the coach on the frame diesel rig's have better frames with engine built in suspension is better maintenance that expensive if you do your own oil change lube suspension I had a gas rig and changed to diesel pusher I'm happy but new rig's are 2 to 4 hundred thousand over price all manufacturers have a little quality problems safe travels 😊
Don’t underestimate the information in this video please. So many people want to join the RVERS of America and live the life they often don’t comprehend the costs involved. For some people it’s sheer luck that problems just don’t happen however they are the minority as in reality almost every owner is going to face some problems. You need a bucket of money to face the unexpected or pay for insurance and know how much it’s possibly going to cost going forward. I’m disappointed with the manufacturers who don’t respond to their customers and blame shortages of spare parts or long queues for repairs. Given what’s happening is buying a new RV still worthwhile or is it better to buy something a few years old that’s already had the main issues ironed out? I’m thinking the latter might be the answer provided you have a good independent inspection prior to your purchase. Whichever works for you I wish you every happiness and success. It’s a brilliant video my friends ♥️🕊️💫
The main reason we purchased an RV in the first place was because we didn't want to leave our dogs at any kennels while traveling. But, I think when our puppies leave us, I'm going to unload our RV. It's a very, very expensive hobby. True, you get to go some places where you wouldn't otherwise be able to go and spend a couple of days. When you start adding up the monthly payment, insurance, registration, lousy gas mileage, campsite fees, maintenance, and accessories, it's really not worth it. Plus setting it up and breaking down, emptying the tanks, etc., it's definitely a lot work. And if you aren't using it full time, you have a camper that's sitting for several months rapidly depreciating in price. Luckily, we live in the country and can store our RV on our property. If not, we would be looking at another $75-100 a month just for storage. A person could drive coast to coast and stay in 5 star hotels along the way and it would be a fraction of what the cost would be to tow one that distance. It was fun while we were doing it, but my time is coming to call it quits. Anyway, a great video and you guys rock!
Nellie sure looks good. I’ve learned a motorhome is like a Jeep, so many ways you can spend money on them, upgrades, repairs, general maintenance, etc..
Is there no way to just unbolt the steering wheel, take it off and then put it back on centered? Or is it a case of it always pulling to the left or right? Good luck with it!
Really off the wall question. Can you direct me to some good websites to find Rv resorts in the Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa areas with full hook ups and NOT along a highway or railroad right away?
I’m about 5 years out before I retire and start to RV . Everyone wants different things. I have been studying between fifth wheel and class A. My budget is much smaller. I really want a diesel for traveling in the mountains . The class A are just too expensive. I’m getting a 2024 GMC Sierra 1 tonDuramax diesel . As soon as I pay that off in five years. I will be getting an alliance paradigm fifth wheel. I won’t be using the truck that much so I should had very low mileage on it by the time I get the RV . I just don’t trust these class A especially some of the motors. I wanted to get a FR3 30ds and pull a small car behind it but going in the mountains having a gasoline engine may have problems. I think I would trust my duramax more than some of these class A diesels. Plus they’re just too expensive . I know there are great deals on fifth wheels especially the 2022 and now I have seen some 2023 with good prices . I been seeing 2022 paradigm for 68,000 on dealers lots . Unfortunately I can’t make a truck and rv payment at the same time. Thanks
If it's an RV, it will break. If you understand this you will be fine lol. Do you still use the CR Spotless water system. I've been looking at them for a good while now. They have gotten so expensive and to maintain it's ridiculous. Just wondering. 🙂
great video thankyou for your hard work on your channel. when will you have a video regarding waxing your your Rv ( equipment used /waxes etc) again thankyou MJ & Izzy
250,000 moving parts all built by the cheapest bidders.... Insert Any manufacturer's name here.... They sell it, We the owners fix it some sooner than others.
Hi, I have a 2016 Tiffin Open Road on a F53 chassis, V10. I have never had steering trouble. I also installed the front end Steer Safe product ($453, a lot cheaper than liquid springs) to help with control steering for blow outs and passing truck blow by. I have had several issues including replacement of the engine ($27000), leather peeling on furniture (replacement $11,000 Villa furniture), levelers leaking (fixed myself with a O ring), break lights going out ($452). Fun money is definitely a requirement! Love your channel. Sincerely, Peter Z
I absolutely love your videos. My wife and I purchased a 10 year old Class A diesel motorhome last year and we purchased a 4 year wholesale warranty policy. Since then we broke down a couple of times while traveling and we were unable to find anyone to honor wholesale warranty to get us rolling again. We were able to get a mobile mechanic to come to our rescue, however we just paid them out of pocket. I spoke to wholesale warranty about reimbursement and they stated that they do not work that way. I can’t get an answer on how to use them in a breakdown situation. Hopefully someone out there can give us some direction on how to use it. By the way we have towing insurance to get us to a repair facility if need be.
Great video, MJ and Izzy! You mentioned rooftop bubbling. Have you done a video on that? My roof started bubbling within three months, and the company tells me it's 'normal." It's maddening.
U WANTED The Big Class A MotorHome u Gonna pay out the Yangyang.(URASS) $3,000.00 Not Bad Them Joyous don't Last. I Always got Michllians because They Last,They don't fall to pices, U leave A Trail of Rubber behind U, Continental There Very Expensive, I never had no problems out of Continental .

Super easy to center the steering wheel. 1/2"bolt removal and move the shaft up from the splines and but it back to. 10 minutes and finished.

I've had that alignment problem in my car in the past. I had to tell them what to do. You straighten your steering wheel then align the front end.
Been enjoying your posts lately so I’m subscribed, looking forward to seeing more. Thanks again.
Awesome, thanks for being here!
Mike at country classic is awesome. My 30’ Thor is there now getting a windshield and a leak test.
We are on our 3rd fridge and we have only had our rv for 2years.
You convinced me Hilton for the win :)
Great video. We have our warranty with Easy Care. So far no major problems (knock on wood) Y'all certainly supply good information for RVers everywhere.
Glad you haven't really needed it. Thanks Scott!

Much appreciated. 😃 Thanks for watching!
Been there, done that. RVing is a frustrating mony pit!
This is the first time I've head of Wholesale Warranty. We bought a 2003 Beaver Marquis. One of the issues is we had very little maintenance records that came along with the RV. Well said and done guys!😊😊😊😊😊
Good info. Thanks!
We bought a new camper two years ago and purchase the extended warranty through good Sams. Fortunately, for us we have not had any problems so we have not had to use the warranty. My renewal is coming up and I was wondering if you’ve ever heard any feedback from goodsams ? Enjoy your videos. Thank you. Chris

Lots of time put in to keep the coaches looking good!!

Great video guys. Would you move up to a diesel pusher now, or stay with your current rig. So intrigued 🙏
When we travel more a DP for our current use has is more than enough
REJEX!!!! Nothing but the shine!

Hi. Izzy and MJ. Does Whole Sale Warranty cover 5th Wheels? By the way, great information. Nellie looks amazing. You guys look great, too. By the way, I am looking up Whole Sale Warranty from your channel. Thanks.
Yes, they do.
Thanks very much for the information. It really does make a person wonder if this hobby is more trouble than it’s worth.
We do really love it, despite these issues.

What’s your opinion of the Vanleigh Beacons?
Vanleigh is out of business. Would probably stay clear
We would love to have a motorhome but, what do you do for a car when you get there? Do you tow a small car? Seems like a big hassel...
We tow a car, yes.
Good video.
How old is the motorhome $4000 in repairs. It is time to get rid of that junk.
Don’t underestimate the information in this video please. So many people want to join the RVERS of America and live the life they often don’t comprehend the costs involved. Please share Lorrie to anyone you know who may be getting into RV lifestyle
I bought 4 tires for my Ford escape and they cost me just over $1,000 dollars!! They were good years tires!!
The main reason we purchased an RV in the first place was because we didn't want to leave our dogs at any kennels while traveling. But, I think when our puppies leave us, I'm going to unload our RV. Yes, when Izzy had a jeep, he was ALWAYS adding and upgrading. lol
Will you pay for the warranty when the free one expires?
No we will hopefully get another free policy 😉
My 2018 F53 has the same off center steering wheel. I too have had it realigned, and no better. Do you know exactly what they did?
Don’t know the specifics but it’s centered. Maybe a trip to NJ will get you fixed up!
Is there no way to just unbolt the steering wheel, take it off and then put it back on centered? Or is it a case of it always pulling to the left or right? Good luck with it!
Friends of ours have an Entegra Cornerstone and they can’t wait to unload it. Nothing but problems and a money pit.
Really off the wall question. Can you direct me to some good websites to find Rv resorts in the Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa areas with full hook ups and NOT along a highway or railroad right away?
We do have an extended warranty but we are still under the oem warranty 😊😊
Yes we still use the simple Chuck.
great video thankyou for your hard work on your channel. when will you have a video regarding waxing your your Rv ( equipment used /waxes etc) again thankyou MJ & Izzy
The $5000.00 is that for a year?
2 years 20,000 miles
Did I miss something. Didn't you two buy a new coach.
Idc what brand you get, you’re going to have the same issues.
Great video, MJ and Izzy! You mentioned rooftop bubbling. Have you done a video on that? My roof started bubbling within three months, and the company tells me it's 'normal." It's maddening.
Sorry that is not normal
Toyo's are better than michelins
Agree and half the price
Sounds like RV’s are as bad as boats. After 6.5 years we sold the boat. Tired of all the maintenance and expense.
Yep you are correct
