I'm so glad this helps! We definitely love our life in Dallas. Very different, but very fun and comfortable. I have more videos about Dallas on my channel, and definitely let me know if you have any questions! I'm always happy to help.
BTW: I think if you're from Germany you do NOT have to do a drivers test, you can just pick up a Texas drivers license based on your German license. Germany is one of the only countries that does have a reciprocity agreement with Texas (or at least it was last year).
I live in Norway and I have wanted to move to Texas for so long. I really feel like I belong there even though I've never been there before, strange feeling.. I'll finish my bachelor's degree in 1 year and am really considering moving down. Do you have any good advice? Some of the things that are holding me back are whether I will find a job and how I will manage financially.
@@TOO-BO I get that! There’s definitely pro’s and cons but I find it very easy to love Texas. I think the first thing you want to figure out is your visa, you can’t just move into the US like you can move throughout Europe. I think your best chances are: working for a company in Europe that could send you as an expat, do another study (master degree?) and go on a student visa, or marry a US citizen haha. Another advice is to move to a big city because rural Texas is literally so remote and dusty! You can go on an ESTA for 90 days first to explore if it’s doable for you! Good luck
I also wanna go to Texas. The people are so friendly up there.
Thank you for this helpful video! My husband and I are thinking about moving to Dallas from Germany.
