This is a mod based on UA-cam channels, websites, or games that have a horror aesthetic to their content with some original content as well. There is no vocals, but instead you're playing the instrumentals for each song.
In this mod we play songs based on The boiled one phenomenon / Phen-228, Fancy island from Lomando.com (a haunted website with lots of jumpscares), Roblox Jim's Computer, Minecraft Creepypasta John mod, The Take Care video by Boisvert, Chezzkids archive and some youtube poop video.
I beat the mod last night so me having nightmares was true. This is my playthrough of the Dead Air Mod and I'll even show off a bit of the references. It's a really good mod, you'll probably like it more if you're familiar with the horror media shown here.

That last song is based on Webdriver torso, a bizarre channel that was made by UA-cam that would rapidly upload bizarre videos that contained blue and red squares. The purpose of these videos was to test UA-cam flagging bot. People found it creepy due to the mass amount of videos that would be uploaded with seemingly no meaning and how frequently they would be uploaded.
Also, obviously I'm referring to the blue and red squares, not the nostalgic imagery.

This is probably one of the most different FnF mods so far, the musical and artistic style are so good but so different, the Fancy Island sprites are on another level, it's a very well done art, Phen-228's music is very Well, the art style of just changing images is something very unique in this mod, 10/10
Most of the fancy island sprites are originally from Lomando soop
Most of this art is from analog horror, but i do agree that this mod is very different than the rest. I haven’t seen an analog horror mod, mainly just creepypasta characters.
@@DaveTheTurkey i would argue that this iant really analog horror, but its sister genre of Digital Horror. The focus on early youtube and early 00s internrt kinda signals that. I highly recommend people look in the genre if they love analog horror but feel a bit tired of it!

Love how this reminds me of Hit Single, but with the aim to capture the nostalgic horror and fear of old internet (and some new) media.
Rather than forcing the media to fit in the mold of FNF (art style, mechanics, etc...), they're fitting game around the media, making it legitimately more scary this way.

I remember seeing a teaser for Fancy Island that piqued my interest in this mod. This has everything I could ask for when it comes to featuring nostalgic horror media/internet stuff, the unique music styles fit them so perfectly too.
Alone the fact that it made a great job being one of the most inoriented and disturbing mod i have ever encountered. You won’t catch me play it, but i definitely love it.
Lomando just gave us nostalgia and some nightmares today :D
