Yes you can take it, personal bikes generally don’t get checked in Ladakh but if it does then carry NoC that its your brother bike. Spiti no issues at all

No rented bikes will be available at that time of the year. Also the weather conditions are winter like only in Spiti Valley during that time of the year with snow around.

It will get cold up there in November in Spiti Valley. So, go well prepared for a winter ride. Black Ice starts forming at high points, so be careful riding those parts even though they will be minimum. Plus DO NOT travel from Kaza to Manali in November because that is a dangerous route in winter, even if open. Better take Shimla - Kinnaur route and come back from the same.

Julley Dheeraj bhai. is there any timing to cross upshi border while coming back to manali from delhi? or any other road closure timing? right now i am only aware of only 1 restriction which is Darcha border restriction of 3pm. that we cannot cross Darcha border after 3PM while going to leh from manali.
True or not, I would never recommend venturing beyond Darcha after that time of the day.. Baralacha La is notorious and a breakdown up there in late hours could mean dooms day for anyone.. so always follow “leave early and sleep early” principle when in the Himalayas.. On factual note, i believe they may have implemented it for time being because higher reaches just got snowfall

Shaahi, well ye problem to hone waali hai agar bike se ye trip karna hai to.. Directly Kaza to ja nahin sakte to aapko do options hain: 1. Bike rent par lo, aur saath mein jyada luggage carry karne k liye backup vehicle/taxi.. of course paise jyada lagenge bahut.. but trade off karna padega ;-) 2. Leap of faith: Dusra option hai ki is baar bas ek backpack pack karke nikal jaao aur baaki trip par rehne do aur experiement karo kam luggage mein kaisa rehta hai :D 3. Ho sakta hai is saal Kaza mein bike rental fer se start ho jaaye.. abhi season open hoga to pata chalega

Aur bht hi shandar tour raha❤4by2 car se off roading drive experience bhi jabardast raha.pta nhi kyu make my trip kullu bhuntar airport show hi nhi krta, to return ticket bhi chandigarh se hi book kiya. Shimla se journey start ki, manali pr end. Then fir wapas chandigarh tk jana pada.
Well, waise Srinagar Leh Highway most likely open ho gaya hoga tab tak.. to aap us side se ja sakte ho.. one way traffic hota hai starting mein Zojila Pass par to appko day aur timing ka dhyaan rakhna hoga.. Manali Leh Highway depend karega open hoga ya nahin sab kuch snowfall par.. abhi snowfall chal hi raha hai to agar jyada ho gaya aane wale dino mein to fer to aapko Manali Leh bandh milega

Spiti vs leh (by air and local in cab).... Leh by air and then local in cab... Looks better option 1. Pletue and no deep valleys 2. Always blue sky and no fog 3. Local are good may be Buddhist 4. Chinmay, you should be able to do it yourself from Leh. It will get cold in October for riding bike especially at lakes and high passes in morning and evening. I hope you have considered it.

is there any timing to cross upshi border while coming back to manali from delhi? or any other road closure timing? right now i am only aware of only 1 restriction which is Darcha border restriction of 3pm. that we cannot cross Darcha border after 3PM while going to leh from manali.
They are removed the Upshi timing now. It used to be like you need to cross before 10 am when going from Leh to Manali but not anymore

True or not, I would never recommend venturing beyond Darcha after that time of the day.. Baralacha La is notorious and a breakdown up there in late hours could mean dooms day for anyone.. so always follow “leave early and sleep early” principle when in the Himalayas.. On factual note, i believe they may have implemented it for time being because higher reaches just got snowfall

Shaahi, well ye problem to hone waali hai agar bike se ye trip karna hai to.. Directly Kaza to ja nahin sakte to aapko do options hain:
1. Bike rent par lo, aur saath mein jyada luggage carry karne k liye backup vehicle/taxi.. of course paise jyada lagenge bahut.. but trade off karna padega ;-)
2. Leap of faith: Dusra option hai ki is baar bas ek backpack pack karke nikal jaao aur baaki trip par rehne do aur experiement karo kam luggage mein kaisa rehta hai :D
3. Ho sakta hai is saal Kaza mein bike rental fer se start ho jaaye.. abhi season open hoga to pata chalega
Humne chandigarh se self driven car (zoom car) hire kiya tha 10 days k liye Breeza. Aur bht hi shandar tour raha❤4by2 car se off roading drive experience bhi jabardast raha.pta nhi kyu make my trip kullu bhuntar airport show hi nhi krta, to return ticket bhi chandigarh se hi book kiya. Shimla se journey start ki, manali pr end. Then fir wapas chandigarh tk jana pada.

Well, waise Srinagar Leh Highway most likely open ho gaya hoga tab tak.. to aap us side se ja sakte ho.. one way traffic hota hai starting mein Zojila Pass par to appko day aur timing ka dhyaan rakhna hoga.. Manali Leh Highway depend karega open hoga ya nahin sab kuch snowfall par.. abhi snowfall chal hi raha hai to agar jyada ho gaya aane wale dino mein to fer to aapko Manali Leh bandh milega

Chinmay, you should be able to do it yourself from Leh. It will get cold in October for riding bike especially at lakes and high passes in morning and evening. I hope you have considered it.
