I can’t describe how bad driving had been . I use a stick and crutches to take the weight off the bad leg . The clutch is the absolute opposite and is excruciating 😫😢😭🧱👍🏽
Steve, it hurts to see you in pain with the hip issue. I recall you mentioning a pending surgery. I hope it is tended to as you should not have to bear such pain.
Do you not have to create a thermal break in the house wall where the new brickwork inner and outer skins butt up to it. Ive seen you chase out a cavity width slot before today?
I own a Ford Kuga Steve and can de-activate the stop/start with a button and if the mechanism is on I just turn the steering wheel slightly to restart the engine, hope this helps?
@ fair enough. No approximate? Looks about 480 wide? I only ask as looking at a new extension which will also cover a set of French doors and a window like the thumbnail.
@@SteveAndAlexBuild wasn’t slating your work whatsoever as enjoy your content . Was just a question as I’d always put it against the house . Each to there own 👍🏻

It’s about time your lad started his driving lessons and take the strain from you driving
Yep, have you seen how difficult it is to even get an instructor and then how ridiculously expensive it is 🫣😩🧱👍🏽
I feel for you Steve. Driving must be a nightmare. Here’s hoping the 8th is not cancelled.

Not on this one 🧱👍🏽
@@SteveAndAlexBuild Any reason why, non livable? Cant make sense why from a personal education perspective?
Not much point on such tiny walls which are pretty sheltered 🧱👍🏽
When is alex learning to drive
Next year hopefully 🤞🏾🧱👍🏽
Should have been a decent sized box gutter at the junction between new and old. An eaves gutter in those situations is never enough volume.
Roof is nothing to do with us 🧱👍🏽
I know, it will probably overflow and leak. Just saying.

Why can’t the Alex drive and take some of the strain?
What’s the extensions dimensions out of interest?
Sorry, can’t remember as this was 3 months ago 🧱👍🏽

This one is an orangery so it’s all windows and the side and bi folds on the front 🧱👍🏽
Brilliant job lads !
Both grafters. Hopefully hip replacement done soon for you Steve. Alex is such a brilliant lad, credit to you Steve and his mum.
Steve why don’t you get Alex to drive?
He can’t drive 😒🧱👍🏽
Why do you always put a half & full brick against the house then have a 3/4 next to it ? Surely put the 3/4 against the house ??
Nope its how i've always done. it as i thunk it looks better 👌🏼🧱👍🏽
