I wonder if William and Jordan know the story of Noel Coward at Clarence House 🤔 The Queen Mother invited him to inspect the guards before heading inside, she caught him eyeing up a guardsman and she leaned in and told him “I wouldn’t bother Noel, they count them before they go back in!”
I love you Will but Halloween is Irish lad. We dress up to blend in with the “spirits”. Trick or treating comes from story tellers going house to house where the storyteller would be given an apple or orange as the treat. Love the pod cast ✌️
I love Jordan's reaction at 1:04 to Noël Coward - anyone under the age of 40 probably has no idea who he is, only a unique minority, of which William and I belong to it seems.
When Jordan mentioned lifts l immediately thought of those things you put in shoes to make you less shorter. Growing up in Australia in the 70s, l didn't see any Halloween stuff, no decorations, trick or treating etc. But it has caught on but not in a big way. I see the odd house with tacky cobwebs and bats etc on front fences/gates. The supermarkets do get in on the action though with Halloween displays and the selling of overpriced mini chocolates/lollies (candies). I also enjoyed the pooltoy, l mean pool boy bit. It was funny. Definitely clap worthy.
Thanks to social media, Halloween decorations has become glorious and extravagant over the years in America. There are Facebook groups dedicated to Halloween lover showcasing their work of art. Yes, people sometimes complain when Halloween decorations are too scary🙄.
When it comes to phoning parents, i always call my mum if she calls me there is usually an emergency or someone has passed away i hate it when she rings me!!
Look at it this way...if someone I know is truly afraid of clowns, I wouldn't dress up as one. Why would I want to cause genuine fear or panic in someone when it's easily avoidable? As someone with CPTSD, perhaps I am maybe too sensitive and would appreciate it if someone else considered my feelings around my triggers, so I try to return the kindness of not harming them. Am I wrong for feeling this way?
Hahaha, there’s a picture on Mikey's instagram wearing that pink top, as soon as I saw William wearing it I said "ah! I know where he got that from", now confirmed
William is quite right; Casper's (restaurant) did indeed put Kasper as a fourteenth, due to a run of people dying/ getting shot ...they used to use serving staff, but due to the sensitive nature (business deals etc) and the staff numbers down by one, they dropped the idea and replaced it with Kasper the cat!;-)
Well, well, well Canadians invented the phrase “Trick or Treat” ? How have I missed that? We have to start adding that to our list of Canadian inventions alongside insulin and the Wonderbra. 🇨🇦
The dilemma at 26:00... I have to disagree, exactly for the reason you said William: Halloween isn't meant to be SCARY scary, but "play scary". I think if you actually dress up as a murderous clown, you're a terrible person basically because you're seeking to frighten people, which would be bad enough, but it is also people who are not looking for that. Although, frankly, of all the things William calls common, I'm surprised he didn't immediately say that the real etiquette blunder was attending a Halloween party in the first place.
i think the box thing is ok i put my friends birthday presents in a box and shes reusing it for my crimbo present and we just gna pass the box back on forth x
Or it's for hard working people that have some extra to spend and want some help with getting on top of clutter in the midst of a very busy life! He's the most humble guy out there come off it
What's the etiquette when you can tell someone hasn't researched a topic and is talking out of their hole? Oooo etymology of the week did not hit. How can you try to talk about Halloween and miss the whole point. Its Irish in origin how did you not say that William. Research!
Hello Laura. I was focussing on pumpkins and trick or treating and not the context of Hallowe’en. The former are American and Canadian respectively, as mentioned.
Can confirm, I am not a professional pool boy 😂
I love how politely William is thirsting over the very attractive pool boy. 😂
He’s allowed it 😂

William ranting is my fav thing on earth also this podcast and you guys are just amazing i don't know what i'd do with you all x x❤❤❤
The gymcident really made me laugh like crazy. The detail about the slap being really loud just got me for some reason 😂🤣💀

Thank god someone said it
Absolutely laughed my head off all the way through that, thank you 😂😂😂😂😂
When Jordan says “I nearly broke my fucking back for that theme tune” I howled 😂 watched it over and over because the way he says it is hilarious 😂😂😂
I love Jordan's reaction at 1:04 to Noël Coward - anyone under the age of 40 probably has no idea who he is, only a unique minority, of which William and I belong to it seems.
Can’t beat the Willy rant 😂
Oooh, another William rant!! 🎉🎉❤ xx
We used to wear bin bags 😂 brings back so many memories xx

The pool boy appreciates the compliment in there 😉

I'm a fan of these two clowns, but paying for a professional declutterer is just bloody odd !
Jordan, did you find your signat ring?? I noticed you wearing. I usually listen on podcast not UA-cam. Hi William. You both are awesome!!
😅 you'll be shocked Halloween originates from Ireland 🇮🇪 it was the Irish that brought it to America 😅
Noel Edmonds lives in my town of Motueka in New Zealand. I haven't seen Mr Blobby yet lol

For a vesper martini - Dukes bar, St. James, London! That is all 🙂

I agree, don’t go to Halloween parties if you’re scared! Stick with art the clown, it’s a cool outfit
Pretty sure pumpkin carving comes from Irish tradition of carving, based off an Irish myth of a man who tricked the devil
I just have to say I was super let down with the truncated cha cha cha. The jungles should appears be included every time in their entirety 💕
Terribly sorry, but William is talking twaddle about Halloween!
I think thats the point 😂 i cant see him being the sort who “agrees with Halloween”
I’ve got a drink for you to try.
It’s called Red Stripe.
That’ll liven up you podcast
I'm in South Africa and we also set a 14th place at the table if there were 13 people.
Newfoundlander here...I've never heard of this until watching this podcast. I guess it's common in specific cultural circles or religious groups?
shez lived in london for many years
I certainly did…😅
I think the Pool Boy was born in NZ and now lives in Australia. His accent is mixed.
Second listen... might be English and Australian.
Nah he’s Pakistani/Australian but spent 7 years in the UK.
He is me ☺️

Someone want to tell them it's Irish origin in Pegan history, not! British go research properly @Williams
Please see comment I made to someone else. I was talking about pumpkins and trick or treating specifically not Hallowe’en. 😂
💖
William seriously needs to lighten up, halloween isnt supposed to be classy.
Halloween is Irish!!!!
Not the modern celebration of it
@@jfluffydog2110a lot of the celebrations come from the ancient celebration
Ok I'm so sorry but Halloween was invited by the Irish! It's Oíche Samhaine!!!
A de clutterer, thats for lazy people with too much money ...jordan!!
Some people aren’t lazy because they have a declutter. They may not be organized and can use organizations tips.

He definitely mentioned Irish, was that not the context of him mentioning it
