If you've watched lots of anime, you would know that not all anime looks like the same. Some are more cartoon-y like doraemon and PSG, and some are more humanized. So, anime doesn't have one style, they have many. It's just Japanese animation, remember that. Just like how American animation (for example) doesn't have one specific style, neither does Japanese animation (anime).
