All he does is watch other peoples videos and copy their title, shit dont show shit about whats in there. they go to talk about someone back from the 90's or something. And show hundreds of pictures of the top of the whole and it damn near looks different in some photos. This guys content is weak as fuck. I wondered this, I've followed this story since I heard it on Art Bells radio show Coast to Coast back in the late 90s. Last I know is that the US Governement took it over , you can't find the hole on any maps online, and its fenced and protected. To see that there was drone footage was shocking, The goat story will forever haunt me about this hole

I know there aren't many dots to connect here but this reminds me of something I've thought about frequently for over 30 years. A really deep hole with stone walls (old well shaped) appeared on my family property when I was a child. It wasn't a large property and I spend my entire childhood on it so I knew every square inch of the area. One day I wandered the same path I had been for years prior to find an old stone well. At least it looked like a well. It was only a few feet in diameter, it had appeared out of nowhere. It wasn't there the day prior. I did what kids do and I started dropping stones down it. There was no sound, no bottom to be seen or heard. All the daylight funneling down into it went to blackness. What did I do? I went to get my neighbor, we were good friends and played together all the time. I knew he would have rope, lots of rope and flashlights. I was going to go down it without fear. Here's the messed up part, when we went back together we couldn't find it. We searched again and again, retraced my exact steps, sat, talked about how I wasn't imagining things, looked and looked some more. Finally after several hours of looking we found where it was located. The reason we missed it and couldn't find it is because the topography of the land had changed. The brush and shrubs had all grown in, the ground and dirt had shifted and fully grown moss covered the area. The land look like it had been settled for decades, but only about 20 minutes had passed between the time I had initially found this hole and the time I went to get my neighbor. For the location however years had passed. The hole was gone and I never did see it again. I went back every week for months, and years after, it never reappeared. I often think about that , what might have happened if I stayed, what might have happened if I did go down that hole, It was over 30 years ago in the 1990's. I would have been about 10 or so at the time and the only evidence that exists is in my memory and my neighbors. I can't explain it but listening to this story is exactly what it makes me think of.

I have lived in Ellensburg my entire life. This story has never been anything other than a story, that not a single other person has ever corroborated, nor has there ever been a shred of evidence for. Not a single photo of any of the holes in this video are real photos of “Mel’s hole”, they’re from all over the place. If it were even slightly true, there would be locals who’d have been able to back it up, but there are ZERO. Few have tried to claim they knew, but were never able to take anyone to it, and every one has pointed to different locations. Goes to show how easily people can believe nothing other than a story with no evidence though.

All these years later, I'd hope someone would pick it up again.Last heard the US Government had taken over the hole. You can't find it on google searches either.
Mel found a second hole or at least some people told him they had a similar hole and he went and checked it out. It was supposedly the same. I think it was in Mexico or New Mexico the 2nd one that is.

Am I the only one terrified of this hole even living 3000 miles away from it? The very thought of it being bottomless is terrifying. The Bible speaks of the Bottomless Pit and someday demons will crawl out of it and devour the wicked... I don't know if that story is true or not but the thought gives me nightmares. They can't even fill it up because there isn't enough dirt to fill the hole. How many poor animals and people met their fate falling into Mel's Hole? I shudder to think.

I've studied Mel's Hole & story...many inconsistencies, and no evidence of anything to date. Mel himself also has a strange story ... It's really an interesting story that never leads to anywhere....

This is just another tall tale but interesting like all mysterious stories. Caucasians would never let this hole go and would be there for experimenting forever.
This story makes sense, also really connected. So, there are more of like this holes. Probably it can be associated with the Dark Watchers, its because of the water and the ice, they remain silent while burning, and if they burning, they will be able to absorb the liquids itself, thats what the echo of the silence means.
The place where i live, in this place, there was a lake-like thing in the woods, i went to there, because in this place there was no sounds, i liked the silence, then i went to that place again after a year, i felt like something wrong in the road, since i seen a tree, then the treen seemed like a human-like creature, then i blinked a bit, and probably just hallucinated, then when i get into that place, now imagine, you finding a lake-like thing with full of water, but nothing. It disappeared completely, it was big enought, there was more rain enought, the temperature also fine, no way the water simply flight into the air because of the hot.
So, i started searching about that lake-like thing, it was enought big to name it, + in this, i mean in this forest place, there is tourist ways, tourist markings, and tables, that contain information. But i found nothing.
Somewhy, i never watched into that lake-like thing, i mean it felt like something "Can" get out of it, or the hell knows, but at that time, i was really depressed, so i don't even cared about if i die or not. Anyway, Mel's hole got a similiar feeling like that place, all places got a feeling, it can be identical if you focus on it, its the same like persons, and everything else. Like a prediction, for example, you know what they will say in the radio, and yes, they said that what you thought. Because why? Because everything can be connected.
So, about Mel's hole, that creature was able to heal the sickness, if that creature can do it that fast, then it can do even more, you know, sickness, and illusion, or just simply hide the hole, even physically, even mentally, or even just particularry.
The reason about that there is no evidence of the hole, is simply easy, the hole can be more than 1 hole, if its deepless, it can be deepless somewhere else in different times, while reappear where you searched for.
Do you even checked the same places 5 times, then in the six times you heard something there? Yes, it sounds like illogical, it sounds like unreal, but i have a very real reason why it can be real, the reason is: We don't even know all the animals and creatures in Earth. Which simply means, we don't know all things about where we live. If that creature was able to communicate, then they enought intelligent to cover their tracks, or to hide.
And, why to hide? Because humans fear the unknown, and the physical things hard to be resisted in physical form. Or simply they live in the underground.
Some people say, that there is hot under the earth, its okay, but then it comes that ice. If an ice can burn, then the hot things can "Cold", its just like a negative mirror, thats why this entire story makes sense, it can be even correct science, but it should not be only just that.

I live north of Atlanta. We have a lot of sinkholes in our area. Especially in Fairmount area where Vulcan Materials used to be. My dad worked there as an engineer trying to brace and reset the huge structures. They would leave for the day or weekend and when they returned pieces of equipment were underground. One was a massive Caterpillar dump truck. All that to say that land owners will try filling these holes with just stuff to keep it from dropping more. Especially where there’s farm animals involved or crops. But, most of it is in vain.

I’m not that old but I’ve been following articles and things as they pop up about Mel’s hole. It’s definitely interesting! The fact that no one really made any money off of it and Mel’s story was always consistent. The govt can hide anything. Even rearrange the earth. It’s somewhere. Take your dogs hiking & a radio. When the dogs start acting strange try the radio. If you get really old tunes or weird sounds you know you’re close.
This is simply a warm hole to a parallel world, so throwing anything inside won’t hear anything. But due to balance, if you throw things, things must be thrown back.
This reminds me of old sci-fi story. On remote world, a mysterious hole had been spewing all manner of weapory since time before memory.. this planet's inhabitants spent more and more on the military budget to defeat the unseen enemy beyond the hole. Scarily, every time they upgraded the deadliness of what they sent through the hole, only an hour later the enemy was matching what they sent back. The world was almost bankrupt, and desperate to end the war. Finally, the most junior member of the armed force a ammassed facing the hole comes to senior staff, and makes a crazy suggestion. No invasion force comes through, just a continuation of the barrage they faced their whole lives. Just as the Commander is about to order the jr officer to jail, a strange silence falls. There are no more weapons coming out of the hole! As the jr officer tells it later, they had fought themselves throughout known history. Probably some remote ancestor had chucked a rock into the hole, and it came back out and hit him. So the great war started. The hole just sent back anything thrown in it.

Bruh, I am a disabled US Marine Combat Veteran. I am not going to lie, I loved being in the US Marines. I have been to over 20 countries during my 8 years. I like how you said at the beginning of the video, "why they gotts dump trash down in the hole?" Well, let me tell you something I didn't know until i was stationed in Japan in 2000. I went on a float on a Navy Ship, USS Rushmore. I was on this ship for several months, well...I was asked by the Navy to help take out the garbage. I thought they were joking, we were at sea, no land in sight. So i grab these huge bags and so did like 12 other people. We threw all this trash in the ocean. I honestly couldn't believe it. I do not know the exact number of ships currently in the US Navy, but I was a stoner, surfer growing up and didn't believe that what i was doing was right. I mean, think about it. We (the US) have been rolling in ships since before WW1..!!! That means every ship since at least then has been throwing their trash 🗑 in the ocean. It's truly UNBELIEVABLE. That is a lot of effing garbage 🗑. But yeah, the Government is crooked as hell. I am proud of the years i served, but they (big brother) are capable of basically anything they want. The American people need to wake up. I am telling ya, b4 it's not a choice anymore.
