I have compiled the chassis plans and actual pictures of the chassis I designed and built for my 1929 Ford roadster using 1986 Corvette suspension components. These are now for sale for $25USD. Once payment is received an electronic file, PDF format will be sent to you via email. Contact me via Facebook.
Thank You for sharing, very good work. We just started gathering parts ourselves, we have an 84 Vette $500 complete, and its going under a 1950 Ford 2 door. We have not had a chance yet to pull the Ford body off the frame to determine if we want to use the modified Ford or modified Vette frame but we will get around to it.
I would love to see a finished picture of your hot rod and to talk to someone about buying the plans. Also do you know of anyone who sells kits for corvette c4 sepention under a model a frame?
thanks for the great video. can you tell me where the front wheel centerline is located in relation to the two upper A arm bolt holes on the subframe.i would greatly appreciate it thank you ..
I don't have that measurements readily available but you should be able to work that out from my drawings. The files can be downloaded from my web site and are drawn to scale.
I forgot to mention in my last reply that when I designed this chassis using the C4 Corvette suspension I took all of my measurements off an original front cross member removed from a 1986 Corvette Indy Pace car convertible. I made no attempt to alter the design/measurements.
i think you mentioned that in your video .im actually using the stock corvette crossmember on a 56 f100.i know where the front wheel center line is on the ford but wanted to know where it is on the stock crossmember.since you redesigned the whole thing i figured the A arm bolt holes where the best place to ask for.
Very impressive, would love to see a video of the final car and a discussion of the results and items for redesign or lessons learned. Thanks John

I dropped the website for now. I hope to upload them to Facebook soon
can you tell me where the rear wheel centerline is in relation to the rear axle mounting bracket is .thank you
Can't find your plans I'm using a Corvette drive train in my 1926 Buick fordor and would like to look over your plans
Go to my facebook page 1929fordhot.com for details on purchasing the plans
nice.
CAT says Carriage bolts are for carriages- wood and not for suspensions. Way too low tensile strenght. You gonna crash if you use them.
The bolts used on the upper control arms are stock GM hardened bolts.
