Intrepid did mention group class spells, like the summoners being able to summon a large gollem. Hopefully that thing has a zerg buster ability or other classes group spells. Mages throwing out some omega lightning storm. Fighters causing a mass earthquake. Thinking as I type tho, zergs would be able to use more of them. So maybe it needs to hit a decent number of players before it really pops off and give it some kind of wind up and sky affecting visual to let people know the rains are coming and hells coming with it haha.
The guild alliance limit; what are the incentives to form alliances? IE: what's to stop big guilds being spread across a load of small guilds without alliances (managed in Discord etc)? EDIT: alright I finished the vid and you covered this pretty well. Top stuff.

Large guilds and alliances should suffer negative effects, call it corruption, bureaucracy whatever. Joining and leaving guilds / alliances should have long enough cooldowns to prevent abuse.
Small guilds will never be "meta" unless the alliance system is busted but at least with Ashes implementing perks/buff or just benefits in general it will still give them a place in the game. Sure you will never own a castle without help and coordination but the guilds who want to remain small to keep that sense of togetherness wont be punished heavily for not going to max size with all the potential spies or drama that brings.
If your small guild becomes a satellite guild for a large guild you will survive. Someone has to occupy and control the level 3 and 2 nodes. A small guild on your own will be a real struggle. l

Zerg busters is what makes albion playeble. And that the tank roles work good in large scale combat and wont insta die.

I think organization will really help small guilds in Ashes but I'm really curious to know what the perks will be for them.

I think the majority of guilds won’t be owning nodes. They’ll just be inhabiting them.
Actually, I will be looking for a smaller guild. Somewhere between 50 to 70 would be ideal.
