Some were asking me about this setup - definitely deadly. Being that Spike weapons are going to get nerfed, other options for Ravana would be Havoc, Mace and Hazard.

@@DenisFox- Cryos have good burst damage but the reload will get you when you have to deal with multiple players. I would rather actually go with Havoc instead since it does grey damage and also you're more likely to hit targets. With Cryo or any rocket weapon you won't hit with all rockets especially if you're moving fast.

@@FailureManagement Yes the Ultimate Orkan will work. I didn't mention it because most players don't have access to it.
Let's wait for the Ravana with the ULTIMATE Corona and see how it performs.
By the way I still use my Ravana with Havoc+Three Overdrive units and it perform very well in my league

Ravana is very good and has survived multiple metas. In fact I think it's the only robot that has been able to do this successfully. Fenrir is good too but Ravana is more likely to survive future robots with crazy abilities simply because of how Transcendence works.

If i wanna have a fun build that still powerfull enough for the damage for ravana, which do u think is better for the third weapon if i use two labrys, shatter or schorcher?

This set is just perfect for Ravana. Me, I would run 3x Balanced Unit, though. Extra Damage and Extra Health make Ravana even more tough.
No, balanced unit get outclassed by nuclear and repair amplifier, if you have them
If you want to make the Ravana tougher it actually makes more sense to either run double Repair Amplifier or a Last Stand. The reason why I use 2x Nuclear Amplifiers is because if I reach 95 stacks quickly that's a damage increase of +76%. Having that damage boost especially at close range where Ravana excels makes it extremely deadly. A lot also depends on the build itself and the weapons I'm running. Some weapons like sonics take longer to charge so it makes more sense to run 2x Nuclear Amps. If it's Mace then I can probably get away with just one Nuclear Amplifier and maybe Repair Amplifier for added resistance along with Last Stand.

I use to battle with havocs on my Ivory Ravana but switched to maces. I prefer alittle more distance.
I think for the current meta the Mace probably performs better. We have more Lynx on the field now and the Mace has a better reload mechanic. Mace also helps with knocking down Aegis Shields.
What people dont seem to get about the incinerator, scorcher, and scald is that they are hit and run weapons and can do absurd damage on fast bots. The ravana is a brawler and scorcher are not brawling weapons
They do pretty good damage but the problem is their reload. If you're forced to engage multiple players those weapons won't reload fast enough. Also against fast moving robots it's actually harder to get that damage in because rockets take time to hit their target - try firing say Scorchers at a Nether that's dashing. You will fire a few shots and miss but because the reload is so terrible you'll only be doing damage once you're at half or a quarter of your clip. After you've fired all your shots then the interval between shots increases. With Labrys while you might also miss the reload is only 5 seconds. After 5 seconds you can fire a full salvo again.

I run scorchers on a Ravana they are like ember weapons in ignoring physical shield and energy shields

Is the explosive pilot good? I don't remember name but scald scorcher and heavy version pilot.
I generally don't use weapon specific pilots because they're a very risky investment. While I know I'm using a BR Account for this video, I still tend to gravitate towards pilots for specific robots (provided they are good). For the Ravana you always want to go with Arnav Poe because he gives your Ravana an extra ability which is huge.

Scorchers need faster reload and more damage on hit. The labrys is definitely better but lets see how good it is after the nerf.
I've tried putting my Ivory Ravana back in my line up a couple of times recently but for whatever reason it just doesn't seem to do well. It's mk3 and i run it with with 1x nuke amp and 2x repair amps. I tried it with 3x Spike (mk2 level 12) and I tried it with 3 mk3 Havocs.
Maybe it's because I haven't used it for a while and didn't really give it enough time for me to warm up to its play style as it often takes when you haven't run a particular bot for some time.
I'm not sure why, it just didn't seem as effective as it once was. I may try it again and give it a little more time next time around.
For Havocs you want to run 2x NA and a Last Stand. I would then take a look at maybe Beak, Kestrel or Shai as options for the drone. In the current meta though I would maybe run Mace or maybe Hazard over the Havocs. I guess it depends if you want to run more close range or medium range but the Hazard I can see working well on larger maps to take out Crisis Reapers.
I run the surfer pilot with 3x mace and a lockdown drone. If I time it right, the bot can completely swallow opposing enemies. Also, keep firing your clip if they have a basic Last Stand as the bot will still absorb the heat up and then explode once their invilnerability is spent. I also use shield breaker for Ophions, Typhons, and Mars. I've literally killed entire bots in one clip, looking for revenge.
Ravana only really effective with a levelled drone
I use the beak on my pokey ravana, it's an absolute killer. One of my favourite all time builds 👍

The Ravana will be stronger because of it's ability. Also Mars is scheduled to have a nerf in the next update as it's currently being tested on the Test Server.
Adrian, would you invest ressources in these weapons knowing they will nerf them right after you have ??? This is the state of the game...I've become sceptical about evertyhing they offer or do !
If I had them from a prize then yes but I wouldn't go out of my way to invest in them. There are other options like Havoc, Mace and Hazard that work well on Ravana too.

The Hammer mace Fenrir is absolutely powerful, but I suggest Mace and one explose rocket.

I already gave my opinion on multiple live streams and videos. There's a reason why I said I have requested to Pixonic that they not feature me any more in their in-game news and that I won't be running any giveaways on my channel until things improve. I will also not be covering Frontiers or any future game until I see an improvement with regards to the state that War Robots is in. It's also why I have been featuring other games on Sunday to break away from War Robots content.

I'm actually surprised you don't use one already. It's the only robot that has really survived multiple metas. In fact if you had maxed out 5 Ravanas during the Ravana meta you'd still do fine today.
I was running my Ravana with Mace, but started struggling with it after that damn Crisis Reaper came out.

Still love the content and watch almost every video, but I can't stand to play this game anymore, the amount of money/time you have to put in if you want to have even a sliver of a chance is utterly ridiculous.
lol at this point I wouldn't mind doing Fortnite only because I have more fun playing that game but unfortunately most of my viewers aren't into it. I think most haven't really given it a try though as they think it's all about building but I actually don't play build mode.
Havoc is still the strongest for the Ravana
Havoc is strong but I think Mace might actually be stronger in the current meta. Whenever you have very fast moving robots like Lynx on the field then it's harder to hit with Havoc. Also we have quite a lot of Aegis Shields out there - Havocs don't perform well in an Aegis meta.
