Great video, Jonathan! Do you recommend the yellow dividers when transporting lights in your Peli 1615? The TrekPak system looks nice, but it might not cradle the lights like the yellow dividers seem to.

Yeah il try and capture more of us using this kit on our next shoot. Always a challenge though as we have small crews and work non stop.

    Would the peli 1615 fit 3 x 300 X aputure LS lights? or maybe one 300 X LS + two 60X ?

I think it would be possible. Im not sure if you'd be able to fit the reflectors in. It would easily fit 300x + 2 60x's though.
My last trip I traveled with a 600D, 200x and 60x and still just about had room for a reflector and all the cables. Weight came to about 28kg.

I just went with two of the "Avenger 1301B Triple C Roller Case" because they are durable and rigid and dirt cheap :P
They are made for C-stands originally.. so now i have one for my two "SIRUI SVT-75 PRO RAPID WITH SVH15 HEAD" side by side and the 300X in the other end just fits there snuggly with the cables.
And then another of the same bag/case from avenger for 3 avenger turtle base c-stands with room for two aputure "Aputure LS 60x" and two Manfroto click stands - "1004BAC"
Then i can carry my two canon c70 and lenses + Sound on my back in a Peak design "TRAVEL DUFFELPACK 65L" with camera cubes in it.
and then carry light + grip in the two Avenger bags for every interview situations (I hope :P ) but as we all know.. it never gets perfect.. it just dosent exist.. @@JonathanPalfrey

Great video. We are really looking to get a lot more portable with our lighting and have been looking at these lights. A lot of our shooting is outdoors and requires battery options. Do you have any recommendations?

Thanks. With the amarans you’ll need the Aputure power station in terms of batteries I’ve been using the FXlion v locks as they can be charged off USB C, there’s also the Smallrig ones out now too which look good

@@regnismada4936 I use the jackery powerstation with 240wh to power my amaran 200x. Cheaper and more flexible for diffrent usecases
