My thoughts exactly. Chris Jones is a better man than I am because I would have spent the rest of the game trying to end Derek Carr's career to make a point to the NFL and the refs. When asked about all of my dirty plays for the rest of the game my response would have been "If I'm going to get flagged even when I'm doing everything I can to avoid hurting the QB anyway, I might as well commit the foul they are claiming I'm committing. Tom Brady literally chased down Mathieu, yelled and screamed obscenities in his face and then Mathieu got flagged. The announcers said going into halftime that the refs talked about it and they're going to be calling the plays a bit more evenly from then on....

Players, and Coaches, get held accountable. Referees never get held accountable. And the people in NYC who made these rules in the first place ;doesn't get held accountable. Picking and choosing to enforce rules on particular players is ruining the NFL.

My thoughts exactly. Chris Jones is a better man than I am because I would have spent the rest of the game trying to end Derek Carr's career to make a point to the NFL and the refs. When asked about all of my dirty plays for the rest of the game my response would have been "If I'm going to get flagged even when I'm doing everything I can to avoid hurting the QB anyway, I might as well commit the foul they are claiming I'm committing. Fuck you AND the horse you rode in on Carl."

What had added even more passion for us fans with this game was the fact that we were playing the Raiders... the oldest and most hated rival. It's always personal every game the Chiefs-Raiders play each other doesn't matter how good or bad the teams are. Some of the louder games I have been to were Raider games

I was there and the energy in the stadium was so exceedingly negative, I legit thought people were going to rush the field.
The officials are probably thinking they called it correctly based on the new rules. As ridiculous as the new rules are, they blew the call even based on the new rules. One of the worst calls I've ever seen. The officials should be ashamed of themselves.
