Banjo-Kazooie Glitch - Mumbo mistransformation

If you hack in flight in Mumbos you can beak bomb tumble into the mumbo pad. If you press B during this tumble, Mumbo will attempt to transform you but will miss. This still takes the required tokens but does not set the flag for unlocking the transformation, essentially allowing mumbo to double charge you.
As of now this glitch is not possible without hacks to allow flying in Mumbo's Skull

I don't think it's fair to call this a banjo kazooie glitch. You can never fly inside mumbos skull so this is practice rom only.

Interesting, we just found out this was possible with a frame perfect grenade egg damage in Banjo-Tooie. It has some interesting respawn properties too. Do you think fall damage would have the same effect here?

Dunno. Doesnt seem high enough in the room to get it except maybe crypt mumbo

Any place you can get out of bounds while flying and hit the skull load trigger from below/behind?

Unfortunately not. None of the mumbo rooms also have fly pads

@@The8bitbeast I mean the load trigger to enter Mumbo's. I'm thinking if you can hit it from below while flying, you won't be forced to land, and can fly inside.

@@renakunisaki unfortunately it doesnt work like that. It puts you in walking. I uses to try the same thing on spiral mountain waterfall on tooie
