For anyone reading the comments before doing this job, I was able to do this in my 14 without removing the wheel. just two 10in extensions and a socket. I had my dad with a long prybar between the AC compressor and head, which was enough to rock the motor while I removed the driver side mount. I also didn’t have to unmount the cooler lines, I just applied a little more force and let the compressor pulley press into the rubber boot of the mount. Doing this job without a 15mm ratcheting wrench would be brutal. Thank you for making this video, it was a huge help!
Excellent job brother. Only thing I would have done is cleaned those tranny screws with a wire brush. And thanks for providing wrench size and torque specs as well. The camera was good too. Thank you!!
Beautiful video👍🏻👍🏻 was perfect! As I was under the car looking for my 2019 scatpack charger oil leak ( the filter was loose dropping oil when vehicle is sitting parked) I noticed another fluid leak kind of like oil but it was the hydraulic fluid from the motor mount🤦🏻♂️ ! This video helped me a lot seeing every detail and struggle I will go through thanks man
So I'd like to Thank @BlueCollarGarage for sharing all his car wisdom on his channel, great detail in vids (I'm a believer, that- devil is in the details), so regardless of your skill set/level, he speaks your language. This vid was a huge help for me in my 300S project; I look fwd to more of your content✌!!
Hey man thanks for posting this video I got a 2015 challenger with the v6 and got the drives side motor mount out but gosh to get it outta the engine bay I’m stuck! Just watched your video and I hope tomorrow I can tackle getting them hoses out of the way so I can bust it out of there
Does this sound like motor mount? I was just going down interstate and floored it around this slow dude and put it in cruise control, next time I had to accelerate it would shake violently but stop when I let off the gas. Also sitting idle at red lights it was shaking.
Wow👍🏾🤳Jacking from the Crossmember is way easier than jacking from each side. I have a 5.7 HEMI 2014 Charger Pursuit🤔I know it's a lot heavier than a V6. I'll definitely do my research before trying to jack er like that✌🤓☮
This is the most comprehensive and detailed how to video I have ever seen. Well done!

Great stuff, very patient.
You are definitely doing what is best before it becomes a problem. Always the best way to go. Excellent video.
Perfect!! Well done! And no cursing too.. Amazing 🤩
Very good video. I did this same maintenance on a 2012 charger pursuit v6 and was easy because of this how to. Thank you.

Awesome video, thank you!!!
That left side is a bear. Left side motor mount a tough one. Great video.

How much labor time is involved in replacing 2 front motor mounts on a 2013 Chrysler 300c 5.7L?
I’d say 1.5-2 hours of labor to do both motor mounts.
Thanks for the video. Much appreciated. Did I miss when you connected the ground wire to the driver's side top bolt?
Yeah it was in there. Thanks for the feedback.
Thank you for this video!
Thanks for the step by step process 👍
Got quoted 1000 to replace cuz its leaking, is that right? The quote and thanks videos on spark plugs got them changed.
do it yourself the video tells everything
Do you have a video on 2016 Dodge Charger RT motor mount removal?
No sorry I don’t. But should be pretty similar to this.
Great video really precise.
An outstanding video! Great job!
Just curious on why you changed the trans mount what were the symptoms if any?
No symptoms I just figured I’d change it out as well with the motor mounts seems how they had the same amount of time and mileage on them.
@@BLUECOLLARGARAGE thanks for the reply
My car has a little vibration on drive and park . On neutral sounds smooth mechanic say I need my motor mounts replace 👀
Great video! Question, what size wrenches did you use?
Thank you. I mainly used a 13mm and 16mm.
You made that job look easy, good video! What brand is your 3/8 torque wrench? ✌🏻
It’s just a Husky brand from Home Depot
whats the metal bracket thats connected to the passenger side motor mount 14' 300c 5.7 its like a thin black bracket
Vid is good to go. Appreciate you posting.
So basically for all dodge and Chrysler I can use the same transmission mount piece ?
Thanks!
I appreciate the super thanks 🙏
Does this sound like motor mount?
I was just going down interstate and floored it around this slow dude and put it in cruise control, next time I had to accelerate it would shake violently but stop when I let off the gas. Also sitting idle at red lights it was shaking.
Yeah sounds like it would be the motor mounts especially if it has high milage.

Are the motor mounts the same for each side ? Or you gotta order the side you need ?
They are both the same so it doesn’t matter.
@@BLUECOLLARGARAGE how much is to change the part? Just labor
So how did u know the trans mount was bad? I can’t see a difference
It wasn’t bad I just figured I’d change it out with the motor mounts since they had the same amount of time and miles on them.
