MVG had a pretty generic MVG performance, obviously it's still better than anyone else, but I wouldn't call it a statement. I think ths statement could be made by Bunting tonight if he keeps playing at the level he did last time

I also think he hasn't shown us that extra level that the supremely gifted players (MVG, Ando and Lewis) have, if he had either more experience or that talent level I think he legitimately could win. That's not to say he doesn't have that talent, we've just not seen it YET. MVG I think looks like a man on a mission, ticking all the right boxes for me, the other title contenders look inconsistent or distracted.

Yes absolutely, I’ve been waiting for this comment. He had a run of massive 107 averages over a 12-18 month period but now his throw has almost matured and needs to change slightly to maintain, a bit like Ricky Evans.
