- We are comparing two bows - the Elite Rezult and the Elite Envision, shooting them at different distances and environments. In this video, we are shooting the Elite Rezult at 50m. Will the target Rezult come out on top?

The groups appeared more consistant today, even if not reflected in the score. Looking forward to a Supra Focus comparison.
I have an XL "Serpent Focus". I made some riser extensions and put some dorsal fins on the back of the riser, with inlays in all the cutouts. It looks pretty impressive. 🏹🤠👍
Went to a shop that advertised they carried Elites to try a couple but they didn’t have any in stock. They said they could order one but didn’t carry any in stock because no one wanted one. Very perplexing. The shop carried Matthews products almost exclusively.
great video, think that sight got you... I have the same sight and at 50 yards if I was shooting low (say on the line of 8 and 9) it would take well over a full rotation of the dial to move the arrow to the X. possible 2+ complete rotations its clicks are like 1/4 clicks vs my other sights. a scientific bow review would be impossible even just to do an in-depth bow comparisons would be a full time job, you would have to shoot many rounds with each over a few weeks or months and average the data and no idea how you would calculate in tweaks that could make one bow fit/feel better than another. :O I think your comments and descriptions are actually much more helpful fro me than the scores.

Watched the video again you have to take in consideration that result is slower so might have to adjust sight much lower than the Envision.... Again good stuff...

My problem is I'm an perfectionist like Me. Hand. Once "if ever" I get to shooting the groups I want, then maybe I will enjoy shooting more. 🏹🤠👍

After watching many of your videos for a long time, here are my thoughts. You always shoot much better with a lighter rig. Switch to a thumb release. Much more rhythm, with timing consistency. I would love to see you repeat this test with a thumb release and less overall mass weight.

hmmm I'm needing something clearing up a tad... I'm looking at upgrading my bow to a current model "yes the rezult is on my list to trial out at my local store" anyway looking on the Elite main website its not showing the Rezult as a new 2022 model

also why not shoot both comparison tests together on the same day, or spread over 2days. other then that good work keep it up & "mind the killer poodle! lol"
So when you said that you only had 2 arrows left and you shot that 1st arrow And it hit down in the 7 8 zoneThat could be your front arm getting weak that you're dipping you're right as the shots get ready to break your front arm drops down a little bit and you come backup and the shot goes off and you're on your way backup

I would think that no matter what if you don't have like 1st 2nd 3rd access on that site that when you're leveling the bubble on the target that that no matter what that's gonna cause some type of spread because you're never getting in a completely level am I correct or not I mean I would think that but I don't know I do know that a lot of people use their bubble when it comes to shooting in the wind so wind so if the wind's blowing left to right they'll bubble in to the wind to help them not have to aim off of the target that is aimed at center and then bubble to the left and it makes their arrow go to the left

Have scores improved in professional contests as archery technology has improved over decades?
Very much so, sights and carbon equipment have changed it. 270 a couple of decades ago was an exceptional score for compound shooters.
I have one of these bows and I like it a lot. Of the five different bows that I've owned I think it's the best of the bunch and I don't see myself buying another. I like the smooth draw cycle, the grip is nice and if the prices of the Rezult came down substantially I'd buy another that I'd use exclusively for indoor shooting.
One of the things that I find interesting is that soooo many archers are very fickle. By that I mean today they ' absolutely love ' the latest Mathews because it does this or the Elite or Hoyts because it can do that but in two years when either one of these big companies releases a new bow they jump right back on the bandwagon' Oh my God this bow is awesome ' etc etc and the irony there is that the new bow does nothing for their scoring nor does it do anything for their form. Why are archers so gullible?

If you watch the film back you'll see the dead release hand it's kind of dead I guess you rotate through the hinge is what I am thinking I would try if I was you the relaxed method and if you could use a click it would be nice cool draw Anchor dropped the bag's shoulder into place the click goes off then just relax your hand let the Palm stretch And bam the shot will break it will break it will be a complete surprise it works great I know we all have our shooting methods I changed my not too long ago after hearing this and it works beautifully You just can't be scared of the hinge release I noticed if I set mine to where I could pull back with most of the attention on my 1st finger and then sound tension on my other 2 fingers as soon as I hit my anchor and dropped my back shoulder in the place the click will go off then I do then I just start stretching my Palm out and the shot breaks beautifully into town beautifully it's a challenge to get it down but if you can it works great

It looks like to me you're losing pressure and you're falling out the bottom cause Once that site is dialed in unless it's super windy you should be hitting them near the same spot and you're all Around the map keep hugging that low side done stuff it's at low side nonstop so I guess I said before losing pressure

And I know you say that the bows are not tuned to shoot that far you really need to do them I mean you don't want your arrow going to the target sideways ways if it was me I would think to tune him and get him fully set up and then shoot him head to head especially if I was going into competition I would want that arrow coming off so clean that way if there was any mistakes for me there was some type of forgiveness Built-in to the setup you know you know with not tuning You don't have no forgiveness with anything it's gonna increase your Problems
Shot timing is so critical. If you shoot enough and ARE zoned in ( not just slinging arrows) you should notice eventually that the shot will break when the pin is in the same place in its “ floating” on the target spot. When you see this and learn it your scores will definitely be awesome. It is almost a subconscious act. To see this aspect you have to be shooting undisturbed- no distractions like at a tournament? This is the secret many great have and can do it in tournaments. This is also a huge part of the mental aspect too. YOU HAVE THE SHOT UNDER CONTROL because you are so focused you know when the shot is going to break.
He's been shooting for 40 years or so there's no way in heaven should he be scoring 318.
Try a bow inbetween the axle to axle length? Result 36 !!!!!
Then don't beat yourself up it could be your front arm getting tired and you're dropping out of the shot of right as it's breaking it could be several different things like you said you haven't shot no compound lately and you're shooting 50 meters

Here's an excuse for you, tuning. How can you expect to shoot 'accurately' without tuning the bow and arrows? I don't understand why you don't apply your 'business effort' to your hobby effort. John Dudley is that good, as are many archers, and that's probably one reason you are not. Love your dedication, but the ethics are poor.
