just climbed this last week with my wife daughter & granddaughter! A great climb with a fantastic view. Nice video! We did Anthony's nose last year on Bear Mountain area. Thanks for your work! HB
great video! have you ever hiked shunemunk mountains to the megaliths in Mountainville? I feel like you may enjoy it. Ive hiked it a few times and i love it, mostly for the varied terrain. Keep up the videos!
i live in Mahopac. its about 40 mins north of me. I do a lot of hiking and i have to say, in terms of the journey, its one of the most interesting ones I found near me. Typically, ill be in the Catskills or further up north. The view is nice, not the best ever but its not a heavily trafficked trail, at least not from what i have experienced. The terrain is absolutely beautiful and varied. From beautiful meadows, to dense woods, to some great rocky scrambles, and for a good portion, you are above treeline, maneuvering across rocks. It has a similar feel to Gertrude's nose trail at lake minnewaska (if your familiar), but i also find it reminds me a lot of New Hampshire hikes. This is the page I found that made me go check it out: hikethehudsonvalley.com/schunemunk-mountain/

Kerri Penguins no. Never heard about it until now. Are you from that area? What's up there?
