A Little Guide to N.Flying's New Member Seo Dongsung 서동성
서동성 Dongsung started from Kokomo Band as trainees FNC band, then FNC introducing Dongsung as NEOZ Band with different members who participated in Mnet debut survival show d.o.b (Dance or Band) which competed to NEOZ Dance (Later as SF9). NEOZ Band lost to NEOZ Dance. One year after the show ended, NEOZ Band debut in 2017 as Honeyst. After 2 years, Honeyst disbanded due to creative differences. Since that, Dongsung helping his senior band N.Flying as bassist in their live, busking, etc. On January 1, 2020, Our N.Flying's father announced that Seo Dongsung would joining N.Flying as bassist and as the 3rd maknae.

Dongsung has gone through a lot. I'm glad that he's with N.Flying, they're such great people. He is obviously already loved and my heart is full knowing that it was N.Flying's choice to add him and not the company's.
I really hope nflying will make it reallllly huge someday bcs honestly they are so underrated and thats so sad

He's been a trainee for a very very long time. When he finally gets to debut, the group disbanded. ㅠㅠ
I cant imagine the hardships and disappointments he's been through. I remember him back at dob being "strict" he was just so eager to debut and pressured at the same time especially being the leader.
He's really destined to be part of N.Flying. Now he's different, he's more happy and carefree. He's enjoying more what he's doing.
I'm glad he didn't give up on his dreams. So happy for him.

I saw the drastic change in Dongsung when he joined N.flying than in Honeyst and I was really happy. He was really stressed out during dob and now we’re seeing the real, relaxed Dongsungie❤️
i am a new n.fia it's just been 4 days and knowing now the background of dongsung makes me a little bit sad. he went through a lot in the industry being on different bands. and i was feeling a bit of regret not knowing the existence of honeyst. its my 1st time hearing their song like you and i instantly love it. if they didn't disbanded i think i will definitely be their fan. and one thing i realized about seungyub. he is like RM of BTS as a leader. he is like a glue or the babble gum of the group he is the main reason why the group is still intact. he is doing his best to lead his group to be the best version. i think if he is the one who left i don't think the group will be intact as the way it is now. and now n.flying having a 5 members, i feel like the 5 of them are way too perfect for each other. they blends to each other as a group and as an individual. i hope their group will be exist until i was 80.
He deserved this chance to debut but really he is talented and for N flying he will be best bassist 🤧

I have never seen a k-pop group have three-fifths amount of maknae, I assume I wouldn't be surprised if they have maknae number four in the future.
I’m really thankful that Seo Dongsung finally found a home with NFlying. Seunghyub is such an assuming but strong leader and the others are so talented, kind and friendly. I also feel Dongsung makes the balance of the group perfect.
