Same here. I can't handle more than about 120K PSU then i lag too bad. Granted my PC is 15 years old but the game is almost that old too. Just a horrible optomized game.

Nice piece of engineering about Y switch. From my POV it is more compley then it should by. I ty to build it as much simple as possible becuase of SIM and clang. Also my trains can reach high speed on these intesections. If I make them longer then +80m/s is not a problem. Good work with piston tilting.. is it controlled by script?
@@Hane1s yes everything is controlled using the Easy Automation Script. The Intersection is not so harsh on the Sim Speed. Its all Large Blocks and every segment is held in place using Landing Gears. The Train is what kills the Sim Speed because its made out of lots and lots of small blocks. The Train has a PCU of 80.000 😅 its also possible to run the train at full speed 100m/s but for security reasons i slow it down and also slow it down at the Intersection. The Slow acceleration at the Start is on purpose. If you sit at one of the cockpits you can see the state of the train on one of the displays. Like Acceleration, Slow Acceleration, Full Speed, Slow Down etc.
@@HansGruberX1 I work on the new train now and one car has 7000 PCU, vhole train will be similar to 80.000 PCU. I know I sue my trains only with DMG turned off so nothing will be damaged. But sometimes they also work with allowed DMG. my intersections uses only hinges on the inner side of turn and landing gers at the last moving segment. They are made lighter so it can switch direction in just 1 second. I also made triple intersection. it need 2 groups of hinges and worked well. I use script only to control thrusters to keep speed. Everting else is made with ingame block without mods :)
@@HansGruberX1 + My largegrid train has 25.000 PCU. I met limitation of the num,ber of used Balst door blocks... +-750.000 blocks which is 150km of railway. After that game crashed everytime So i loaded older version with 100km and ended it with normal blocks
@@HansGruberX1 I use mods for better performance. Trees with no hitbox, removing smoke and increasing maximal speed ;) I do not trust wheel in high speeds. They are clangy
its actually not that bad. My FPS is going down to 30-40 fps and the Sim Speed goes down to 0.75-0.80 but my PC is also very old. Still using a GTX 1070 and an Intel i7 5820k. Its a 10 Year old CPU :D
@@mahuba2553 i made a Train World before and i went too big. The Track itself was bigger and i had 2 Tracks and 2 Trains. 1 Passenger Train and 1 Cargo Train. The World was so big the SimSpeed was under 0.2 :D So i started a new World from Scratch, had to ditch the Cargo Train and shortend the Passenger Train. I also reworked the Script and used more Timer Blocks instead to optimize it as much as possible. My PC is really old and im sure you wont have any Problems running my Train World with a decent modern PC!!

I don't care for realistic water. I just want less clang and more performance. So stuff like this isn't just concept work.
And better networking so multiplayer doesn't feels like a Roblox game with one thousand blocks moving around in slow motion 🙏

@@Hane1s also no mods on my builds. Full Vanilla 😊 i dont use thrusters only wheels to move the Train
