This is just a fundamental societal problem of people trying to impress people, who don't really matter, with stuff that impresses nobody really.
That and people just like to invest in their one and only deck. It’s their personal preference and money so it definitely is a “let bygones be bygones.” Situation
Just a question about membership, not the right video maybe, but there has been no additional content for members(decklists, market stuff, etc.) for over a month. I'm not saying there needs to be daily things, but once a week would be nice in order to feel like I'm actually getting the return on being a member.
Also btw you are speaking very intelligently and I hope the people that need to hear this listen.
My personal rule for max rarity is to only do it if it’s a deck you truly love and a deck you don’t plan to drop anytime soon.
I respect your endeavor, but maybe it was a bit too ambitious with trying to get EVERY max rarity yellow card.
Man is growing up in front of all of our eyes. Cardboard is inherently a bad investment. It’s fun and It’s completely ok to spend if you have the resources but at a certain point even a rich person is going to realize they could have purchased real stocks, funded a retirement account, purchased a first or second home, or gone on vacation somewhere exotic. Spend if it brings you joy but impulse control is important especially as you get older
This has been the most puzzling topic in digimon for me as a new guy. People want max rarity more in this game than any other game. I personally don't get it. I see someone with max rarity cards and all I got to say to them is, "nice card"...it's not impressive, I don't class that person higher than me and I certainly am not jealous bcuz my cards can still play the game and I've got money in my pocket.
it’s just fun for them. It’s not about making you feel lesser, it’s about them having more fun with the game by looking at the pretty arts. It’s really not that deep.
His cards are not for you lol
A more realistic endeavor would be to get a single copy of every alt art for collection purposes
Ive only maxed 2 decks in Beelzemon and Gammamon (without the topper sirusmon even so not even really max) only because I love thoes digimon, otherwise if i get a cool card here and there awesome but I dont need them to play
I was just missing one chase st Beelzemon and the 4 new imp x judge cards from being max rarity, but then I remember they have the 3v3 Yaamon and death slinger. Still haven’t bothered with those yet.
Lowest legal for official play rarities for me, always. Wish I could get non-shiny versions of everything.
Ive been trying so hard to get a magnamon alternate art (tamer party special). I can't find that anywhere at a price I can afford. I was hoping to complete a collection of all classic style throwback art cards...
I feel like yellow is also the most expensive color In general.
Mario gave me financial advice now I am broke 😭😭😭
I want to play and buy cards but dogimon needs a card game smh
Cringe humblebrag, but good to see you're getting some sense lmfao
Watching someone in real time. Realize they spend thousands of dollars on cardboard ❤😂
Jkjj I do to. I love it
I personally think that is cooler to have different arts in one deck than everything max rarity.
I also dont spend money on alts, only keep the ones i manage to pull.
money story here. I am a digimon collector. Have every single card on release as I have my personal seller who organizes for me. The problem is that bt16 has hit me hard, not cause price but personal sence of I could have just wait. I don't play, or flex, I just love digimon and will collect them all, but hope that I don't see this again, at least on bt16 degree or I will just wait a month after release to buy from now on
If you're going to shell out for expensive arts, only do it for the right reason, which isn't to flex. It's to appreciate the art for yourself. If just that isn't worth it to you, then for sure, spend your money on better things.
Do you have any event pack 4 plug in for sale
Im trying to get the point of this video. No one force you to spend that much on a hobby
Show us the power of an Angel Deck🗣️
ngl if you need a magnaX i have one of those that you are seeking ^^"
I know a guy who like Magna X
I used to spend thousands (literally) every month on Digimon cards. Don't ask. My tipping point was when Bandai nuked the market with the release of Resurgence Booster. Things like MagnaAngemon, that used to be a solid 20 bucks for ages. Now thanks to RB it's $1. Lilithmon. Lucemon. Omnimon Zwart Defeat. All these (and dozens more) lost 90% of their value in a day. After all loyal fans have purchased their playsets. Oh, and things like the 2nd Anniversary Card Set. Remember BT1 Alt Omni? Used to be 200 bucks? The flagship of the card game, like the first edition shadowless Charizard of the Digimon TCG? They're down to $15 thanks to these. And no one's even interested in the card. I stopped buying Digimon altogether.

@@enigmaticheart666 For which part? Choosing to collect a playset of every card in a game I enjoy, or knowing when to call it quits? Dumass.
You gotta do you! Your reason is sound! I personally enjoy collecting the cards, I will get one copy of whichever card I am trying to get, and it goes into my collection binder. I don't use alt arts in my decks, I just get the cheapest copies of them so I can just play the game. Makes me happy collecting and playing this way. (I also don't normally spend more than $100 on any one card, if I do even get close to $100 its gotta be something I really love, unless I pull it or win it)
I only get 1ofs on the decks I like. I get 1 of each of the alts (only 1 star can't afford 2 stars) and that's good another for me I don't need a playset of alts
Bandai just loves the color yellow. That's the only explanation to why it is the dominant color throughout multiple card games throughout the brand.
Did the same in One Piece. Bought the whole Edward deck in high rare, including 4 Manga Ace. Didn't have time to play for a month and then only played 3 locals before starting to sell it again.
I will do the same for 7DL and might commit to Ogudomon V3.
Sometimes we buy to show off, sometimes we buy for our soul.
I picked up all the alt art wargrey stuff (bwg included) because I was a og fan of wargrey. Then I felt that high of max rarity and did the same with bloom for nats. Since then that need has worn off esp since those decks have dropped in playabilty, and I've started sticking with min rarity. I've bought too many max rare cards that I didn't even touch . The lesson I learned was only get the alt arts you actually like with the understanding that they will probably not appreciate in value.
Those lottery cards remind me of magic's phyrexian oil cards; really ugly.
Could you share your angels deck?
Maybe a members only one?
Its been a while since we got some members posts
Looks like y’all have been juiced for money. No surprise there.
