Awesome flight. That Tow plane deserves credit as well. Man. Can you imagine maidening that glider after such a loooong build. I still get the shakes maidening a plane I built in a week
Love to watch this huge glider!!! Must have taken lots of expertise and time to build it! Congratulations and happy flying. Best from souther California
The audience that watch this kind of videos are ENTHUSIASTS not just here to listen to elevator music... we are trying to learn everything we can about the subject of the video. Like a documentary, the original audio is an important part of all but the shallowest of childrens slime and unboxing vids. Never feel pressured to make your video 'better' by adding music over the sound of the subject.
Why are ailerons and flaps still working with this extreme bending of the wing? The hinge line should look very curved thus making making any movement very difficult.
Very nice flight although I'm not very fond of these excessive flexible wings .Amazing video shot, please what kind of camera was used for this video ?
Wings seem to be way too flexible. Seems to be accurate scale though - the full size Eta does this too, maybe even more: ua-cam.com/video/9USXmOQdQDc/v-deo.html
It is not the size of the glider that matters. It is how you use it! I am certain a 12 meter glider would work just as good. Who knows some may even like a 12 meter glider better than a 15, 45 meter glider! 15,45 meter gliders are considered too big for some. There is nothing wrong with 11 meter glider either. If I happen to have even a 10 meter glider, which I am not saying mine is only 10 meters, some like that even better. Size is not everything! 10 meters is more than adequate for many. But again, this is neither a conformation nor a denial that my glider is 10 meters long, which is big anyway. Doctor Sigmund Freud would have a lot to say about this, excessive, 15,45 meter glider. But he would say nothing negative about a 10 meter glider, which I am not saying that is the size of my glider or not.
Stunning! I can't get enough of those extreme high aspect wings!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🥰
Absolutely, a most beautiful, well engineered, and RC piloted flight......the engine may my day......the tow plane, as well!

Graceful and elegant, beautiful sky, smooth music and what a landing. 😘
never have i seen a more perfect landing
👍🐨🌏 well done mate..,, the slow tow was good control. Keith Australia

Greetings from the Czech republic, Europe.
Super elegant dieser Segler.
Excellent piloting.
Awesome airplane, I love it but I don't love music on R/C videos, I'd rather hear the sound of model engines!!
I sooo wanted to hear it whistle. Sucks I had to listen to your music overlay instead :(
Here the glider sings ua-cam.com/video/vOy_RnaymL0/v-deo.html

the first time i saw those i thought they were fake lol, amazing!
Великолепное зрелище, браво!
Exquisite!!!
Kann doch nur Gernot sein der solch langes Ding fliegt
Beautiful
Very nice glider. Interesting well made video too. Well done everyone. I would be interested in knowing the all up weight of this very large glider?
C est magnifique
Beautiful!

Spettacolare👍👍👍
That tow pilot really know how to tow glider. Gernot flying good but it is more about tow pilot.
molto bello bravo anche il pilota

Panasonic HC-VX870EP, it was a good camera. I use now Panasonic HC-X2000.
the guy with tiny glider goes...wow my turn now.....lol
Amazing plane. But these crazy bent wings look strange. Nice build anyways.
Yeah I agree
They wouldn't bend like that if he didn't have the airbrakes open on tow!
The full size ETA looks just the same !!
@@craigjlowrie Doesn't like that look anyways. Just my opinion.
cooles video
Amazing
Wish you could have stuffed it in a thermal I once stuffed a paragon in a boomer for 2 hours going for LSF 4
I never got to do it again
bit much dihedral due to wing bending? Never thought towing could work with a tow line obstructed rudder.

@@davidGrainger you are right but it looks somehow wrong nevertheless.
Does anyone know the best glide-ratio and minimal sinking-speed?
Looks like it needs a stiffer spar. Don't think they bend that much in the full scale.
They get close... There is a video of the full size ETA doing a fast pass and pull up on UA-cam... its is worth a look !
it is elegant
How's the roll rate?
Uau
Mmhh the wing bending
Super high aspect ratio! what’s L/D?
I do not know, I only know depth of the wing, about 30 cm, the slenderness of the wing is 51,33
ein Traum
Music ruined it
Is the video slowed down from normal speed? Is it 50% speed?
great
If your going to go to this size..why not get your license and fly the full size ones.
I know huh, I guess if you're inside the plane flying it you can't watch it fly.
I've done both, can't beat the real thing if you don't have the time driven to n airfield, DI, tow up, flying n model helps with flying withdrawals.
90% of full size gliders with an actual pilot inside have less wingspan than this model.
bad music choice lmao this isnt a marriage XD
👍
This model is crying out for FPV
