    I’ve been using the MB 2 for a while now to bring it to the roof either for maintenance or service but it will be perfect if they build the hard bottom so it can stand on wet surfaces to protect tools inside the pouch. Nice tool setup !

    I really like the pill bottle idea. I have a small case i picked up at a hobby shop to hold pretty much the same stuff but it’s still taking too much space in my MB2. Smallest case I could find. I’m going to try the pill bottles. Thanks brother.

    I have this bag as well and its great. The only thing I wish veto would do is make the bottom with the hard plastic. I too do HVAC in SC and dragging it through crawl spaces will take its toll on the bag after a few years.

    How'd I miss this video when it was posted?! I'm watching this as I've never had the MB2 bag, but wanted to see what it could be loaded out with, think I'm convinced on picking up one (maybe two 😜). Thanks for all your great videos!

    Never thought about a pill bottle🍒. I seen the 7 day pill box, but have been using the little Husky zipper bags for connectors and screws.

    I have the Dewalt gyro driver and it will swivel into a pistol grip. Still thinking about that pipe clamp probe. Good set up for sure.

    Great video, I have the Veto backpack and was looking at the mb or the mb2 I think you sold me on the two because I use that same Dewalt screwdriver and that’s awesome it fits right in the front like that. Thanks

    Nice load out, but for crawling through attics ect, I would prefer the TP-XL if the budget will allow. With the TP-XL you would be able to keep all those tools internal to the bag under the flapped top, and not in side pockets where they might come out un-noticed as you are crawling about..Here in the UK the attics in most houses are insulated with either a fibreglass mat or blown in loose fibre....it's a nightmare to work in, and it makes so easy to loose tools, screws or other small stuff in...Edited to add that DeWalt 8v screwdriver looks a really sweet item for this sort of work!

    I do installs rough ins and maintenance, the only drill I carry is my DeWalt 20v 3 speed with a malco 4in extension with the reversible chuck 1/4-5/16 works great for everything that I do...

    I may have just completely overlooked it on your amazon page, but what is the link to that temp clamp that was one of the first things you showed?

    Where did you get the magnets and what kind of glue did you use to glue on the tools?

    Interesting as someone who works in PA I find a tool bucket better but we mostly work on boiler systems I have a bucket with the outside tool holder and on top I have a Walmart bucket seat so I get a seat along with my tools it's nice sometimes to not have to be on your knees should add my company is primarily a heating company we and we specialize in old-school coal/wood furnaces/fireplaces but since 1952 have expanded to all general heating but we are still on of the few guys who install outdoor furnaces alot of company's in my area don't like to deal with them

    Veto is about to come out with a bigger mb bag. I think they are going to call it the MB-XL.

    • @HVACinSC
      @HVACinSC  6 років тому +1

      Danny L I've heard the same. If they tweek the MB2 design just a bit without making it huge, it would be perfect.

      They are adding a hard bottom to the bags and are coming out with a few new bags like a MCT size backpack and a few more secret bags to come. I’m a demo tester.

      PatrickNJ Cool. I have purchased several different Vetos and although they are built great, most are FAR to large and bulky to work well for me. Ended up selling them all. I'm now only interested in the MB2 size bags.

      @SombraLocs 6 років тому

      I hope you're not talking about the new TP3B. I don't like those open bags, I really like the MB2 because it's a closed top and don't really have to worry about tools falling out, when the bag tilts over. The MB2 is my favorite bag. The only problem I've had so far is the zipper, it broke off after a year and a half.

    No flashlight or headlamp? You work in crawl spaces and attics, I would think you would want a flashlight or headlamp in your maintenance bag.

      This is only what's in my maintenance bag, not what I carry on my person. I have a streamlight in my pocket at all times and another dozen lightning options in the truck depending on the situation. 👍

      Familia Sanchez HVAC Came with a cheap little clamp meter I found at Lowes. Meter died inside of 6 months but the bag works great!
