Exactly. Like Leah stealing the Commonwealth's weapons and getting those people in the apartment building slaughtered by that asshole. Daryl sparing her life caused all that to happen.
I'll tell you what. Daryl and the others were DAMN LUCKY fhat the Reapers were such a small group. The thing that made the Saviors and the whisperers so dangerous was the fact that up until season 6, we had never seen any groups who had THAT many people. And both of those groups had advantages over most of the other civilians: actually knowing how to kill people and being sneaky with the masks and walkers. But the Reapers are mercenaries, so they've been killing people even before the apocalypse. And even though their group is only like, 20 people, they showed us enough footage to show that all of the members know what they're doing and they're ALL capable fighters. Like even Austin lasted longer than a lot of the other henchmen that Daryl had killed. So they were legitimately threatening, but their size made it easier to deal with them, since they could be divided. But imagine if the Reapers was an actual army, like a group of 100-200 soldiers. The survivor's would've been screwed.
Keep in mind the reapers were just a squad, they fought together in Afghanistan so it was just them when the zombie apocalypse started and yeah, Daryl and the other got really lucky, several of the reapers were shown to be able to beat Maggie and daryl in hand to hand combat, Deaver beated Maggie in just 2 moves, carver really didn't even try, and Montanio easily could've killed her too.
I mean, we didn't need to see more of them. Not every group has to be the next main villain for 30 episodes. They were great for the few episodes and we didn't really need more. Their group isn't that big either way. The main focus of season 11 was the Commonwealth.

The reapers are former mercenaries and what’s Daryl background? And he manages to fight against some of them is pretty much proving he is such a good fighter. PS. Being a good fighter in my definition applying to TWD is not just having close combat skill but also abilities to survive such as deception and other tactics. IMO, Carol wouldn’t last like others if she’s facing one of the Reapers one on one but her other skills are on point making her also one of the best fighter in TWD.

Honestly these guys were by far the most “evil” group in the entire show, they all had vast military experience and could handle themselves well against walkers. They could have easily created a strong community and trained up other survivors and become a small functioning society but instead chose to maliciously hunt down and torment other groups of survivors for no viable reason
I know right? The walker kills have gotten SO MUCH more gorey and graphic, and to me it just feels like, some of these walkers havent eaten ANYTHING in the whole apocalypse.
Show dropped in quality after Negan arrived. I know Glenn’s death had to happen but he was the heart of the group. Killing Carl off was stupid as well. It’s like the writers had no idea what direction to go with in the show.
The show has been great! But nothing last forever and greed does play a part in favorite characters. Social media ruined twd fan base with so many people complaining just like ur doing now. Which is why I stopped going to twd social communities because it was just negativity that ruined the show.
I hated everything about the Reapers story arc. They were set up like some elite navy seal team that survived the pandemic and of course they get taken out in 1 - 2 - 3 easy fucking peasy fashion. Wasted potential but I guess TWD needed to milk every bit of this season they could.
I kinda forgot all of these were the Reapers. Only one of them died wearing the cool masks. Did they really only wear the masks for the intro of the Reapers? Then they never wore them again, they looked so cool.
The Survivors could take on ANYONE if they had to. The Reapers were former special forces. Ricks group were just ordinary people with ordinary lives who stepped up and fought back against a dying world

A grenade with zero blast radius and no fragmentation.
Genious.
hate to burst your bubble but the bezerk strength that dude in the fire would have had from his body going into O SHIT DANGER mode would have easily overpowered that old guy
In this situation people will fight, flight, or freeze. Being on fire is much more likely to cause the latter 2 then send him into beast mode.
@@donalddavis7423 yeah I don't know how likely that is
Facts
@@detsalb5789 Man you'd probably go into shock from that tbh.
I agree, fire would turn on "beast mode" in me as well as "find some water" mode. I didn't see the show and don't know why the guy was thrown in the 🔥
Crazy how this series refuses to die when all the meaningful story beats have already been done, the comics have been over already.
When did the comic end what season for those that would rather just watch it
@@scottjohnson5687 The Comics and Show don't follow a similar timeline at all, if it were comparable the series would've been over by like season four to five.

Daryl, one of the best fighter TWD has ever had.
Oh hell naw 🤦♂️ Daryl fans still be delusional
@@josiahgonzalez942 he is tho he’s probably 7th best
@@josiahgonzalez942 I’m not even his fans. I just stated facts. It wasn’t his dumb luck he has survived for years. This video is an example for it.
God I love how Maggie’s team utilized The Whisperers tactics. If it caught them completely off guard, it would work for any other group. Which just shows how dangerous The Whisperers were and how they survived as long as they did.
Negan watching maggie kill Carver.. this whole scene was amazing 10/10 .
RIP TWD
Negan gave a look at the beginning like he knew she was going to go of on them
6:00
Can I just say I'm REALLY happy about this part of the scene? It might feel underhanded for Maggie to do, but the Reapers broke good-faith negotiations when they were going to kill them with that sniper. What she did was absolutely justified, and clever.
Reaper Kill Counts:
Suicide - 1
Whisperers - 1
Pope - 1
Leah - 1
Negan - 1
Daryl - 4 (counting Leah)
Gabrielle - 5
Maggie - 5
Those Reapers never had the makings of a varsity athlete.
Daryl, Gabriel and Negan are the best characters in this show right now
Aaron too
Maggie killing them even though she agreed to let them go was pretty badass kinda felt like something Rick would do but also something negan would do
I ain’t watched the show in years, but when a list pops up of characters deaths you just gotta watch it
Maggie is a female Rick lol just badass
I'll agree with that once I see her bite someone's neck haha
@@Rknowles813 just wait until she put into that position, no doubt she’ll do some crazy ish
Maggie is more like a female Daryl
@@mattycraig1544 I don't share that vibe. I don't think Maggie is female Rick or Daryl, she's just... Maggie lol
Negan-“ if I would have done it differently I would have killed you all”
Maggie- “Bet”
Daryl fights Austin and Negan & Maggie fight Carver are the coolest fights in this season
Negan wearing the whisperer mask is the most badass thing ever
Damn Gabriel has turned to the dark side
I like how Gabriel went from the guy that everyone in the walking dead especially Rick bullied and even depended on everyone in the group now he’s independent and a cold blooded killer
Shoulder injury that bad, no way would Daryl have been able to choke out Austin after stabbing him.
00:51 On this episode of myth busters Jamie sees just how fireproof Bossie is
2:18 thought gabriel was blind in that eye
Negan’s ice cold stare no matter what he is looking at is so damn good
I thought grenades typically worked with the intention of causing shrapnel not causing a big explosion, because with shrapnel turning around and cowering wouldn’t stop tiny pieces of metal from flying through the air and hitting you
"Choke hold's illegal"
- Daryl
Maggie out here being a savage
I’ve never seen such high amount of disrespect before
1:30 got to be honest Negan stabbing him was cool AF
Whisperers are scary if your not expecting them, especially when your in a huge hoard
0:17 a man of God also kills
damn i’m seeing no one say Montanio as their favorite reaper. does no one remember this guys fight in the woods vs daryl maggie and her crew. he killed multiple of them and was a TANK
Now you can add leah to the list 👍
Mission complete 🙂
Wells put up a decently good fight against those walkers and whisperers but the way Gabriel said "gid isnt here anymore" is just my fav reaper kill
What I find crazy is why they fight each other not the zombies
Who is your favourite member of The Reapers? My favourite is Mancea.
Wells and carver
Mancea was really interesting, Bossie I felt horrible for. Austin, Deaver, Fisher and Ancheta needed more lines.
Deaver and Carver 😁
Carver - wonder what would he have done if he knew that Leah killed Pope, not Daryl...
@@kirklynncentore7843 Bossie is The Reaper, That Slashed Alden's Abdomen, so don't be, my dude.
Gabriel is the real definition of meme: I'm a healer, but *gun reload*
By this point those walkers probbaly haven't eaten a human in years. I would hate to be the one to break that fast
I know right? The walker kills have gotten SO MUCH more gorey and graphic, and to me it just feels like, some of these walkers havent eaten ANYTHING in the whole apocalypse.
I love how Gabriel said “God’s not here anymore.” It was just amazing.
1:44 Smoking really kills xD
Man that "Call me Gabriel" scene was cold asf
Show dropped in quality after Negan arrived. I know Glenn’s death had to happen but he was the heart of the group. Killing Carl off was stupid as well. It’s like the writers had no idea what direction to go with in the show.
Are you sure you're not commenting in the wrong TWD montage?😅
Well they killed off Carl after Chandler turned 18 and him and his agent tried to renegotiate his salary.
Not another cornball fan still crying about season 7
Glenn was a little bitch, Abraham was the strength and Rick is the heart of the group and show.
The show has been great! But nothing last forever and greed does play a part in favorite characters. Social media ruined twd fan base with so many people complaining just like ur doing now. Which is why I stopped going to twd social communities because it was just negativity that ruined the show.
Negan in the beginning: he is the maniac. Negan at this point: something whole different
I actually liked the reapers alot and I wanted them to be the main antagonist
5:44 "Nope,no Jason here.Call me Gabriel" the coldest 🥶 scene in TWD.💯🔥
I hated everything about the Reapers story arc. They were set up like some elite navy seal team that survived the pandemic and of course they get taken out in 1 - 2 - 3 easy fucking peasy fashion. Wasted potential but I guess TWD needed to milk every bit of this season they could.
The reapers were so cool! Awesome video
I kinda forgot all of these were the Reapers. Only one of them died wearing the cool masks. Did they really only wear the masks for the intro of the Reapers? Then they never wore them again, they looked so cool.
6:05 maggie in a way became savage rick and the first survivor shane.... kill all who are our enemies ...no questions asked. Survival is the fittest
The walker in 4:20 sounds like a cat lol
Negan is definitely scared of Maggie after the last one
Maggie really shined during this reaper arc.
The Survivors could take on ANYONE if they had to. The Reapers were former special forces. Ricks group were just ordinary people with ordinary lives who stepped up and fought back against a dying world
This group was great for developing Maggie,Daryl,Negan, and Gabe but The Governor,Negan,Alpha&Beta were far better villians in general
