I'm getting that the lyrics are that they don't want to be a traditional wife to a man. "I make you feel so high" (boost up your ego). "I make you feel like lie" (though you're not that great). "But I don't want to wife wife wife wife" (wife as a verb... to be like a trad wife). The cream soup represents the acceptance of being a bland trad wife. It's chocolate crazy flavored to make it more desirable. The bobbed haircuts, cleaning clothes and pearls represent the trad wife uniform. They each have a chain shoelace on one shoe representing "The ball and chain" of marriage. The camera also zooms in on the shoe or shows it stomping them several times when the lyric "wife" comes. The lyrics talk about cooking, cleaning, and submission. Some people interpret the lyrics as sexual but I think they talk about trying to eat and hold down the soup of acceptance of being the trad wife.
Yeah, it's funny how people say the lyric is sexual, but the lyrics never actually say anything.
I have seen some say they (Soyeon) are perverts and hypocritical (refering to nxde). But the irony is that nxde's message is still correct, they(haters) are the perverts, they are the ones interpreting it like that.
But ofc it's Soyeon there is definitely a double meaning, she likes sex, she already told us.
Oh no, no, no... The korean lyrics are about fucking. Soyeon ask his lover/husband whatever if his father knows he is all grown up now and then shakes her ass to the camera. Cakes, spitting, swallow, tender lips, dancing like mermaids in the sea, wiping it everywhere, touches of the tongue, cherry on top...They are playing with double meanings. They are making fun of the traditional wife role model while at the same time turning it around with rebellious innuendo. The wife-maid is cooking, yes, but she is cooking something else... They are not just complaining about traditional wife roles. They don't want to be your wife-maid, they want to be appreciated as women and fuck, not cook for you and clean your room. That is the brilliance of the song. It is not just that they don't want submission, they are empowering themselves as fun loving and ALIVE in opposition to a traditional wife. Get on your knees and call me mistress, don't ask me when the soup is ready.
