Game is fun to play, but it's just oppressive if you don't have an optimized deck. Since you really can only pay for packs, you can't work towards anything at a modest pace. So once you spend an exorbitant amount of money or just get extremely lucky, now you sucked all the fun out of collecting and can only grind ranked. Nintendo understands that you need a playerbase that's engaged long term that isn't just there to drop a few hundred, play ranked for a few weeks, then quit till a new set brings them back in. 2 free packs a day is amazing value and it's annoying how behind Bandai is with all of their card games.
This all very true. I think if you don't have the money spend just get and play a starter deck and open packs with the free gems. Hopefully by set 2 enough whales have dropped enough money and they can revist the way they do things...but I highly doubt it
why dont they add a free pack daily reward, with a sr or scr card once a month garanteed for c ammount of days. then get a freepack for playing like 2 matches or so. ppl would be insentivised to play to get those rewars. and at least you can get lucky and possibly form a better deck with your free started deck or possibly get a base ground to make a better deck in another color. which would incentivise you to buy another starter deck in a better suited color, depending on your card drops in the first few days.
Bro I can't even get new leaders and I'm facing people with secret rares and everything else in between. Trying to rank up as a f2p is man.... I'm trying to save up for 1000 but these measly rewards make it tough
I'm staying f2p for several reasons: 1) I don't like putting money into something I'll never own. I'm not buying a game, or a dlc, or a skin in a game I already own, no, it's just digital content in a digital game... if the game closes tomorrow, it's like throwing $60 (or more) out the window 2) as I said, it's digital, and in the end I'll never own it... if you're going to spend $60 on Fusion World, you might as well buy the physical version, at least you can resell or exchange your cards, in short, they're yours 3) why give money to a company that doesn't even respect my country ? we're the number 1 manga-consuming country after Japan, and games are still too often limited to English and Japanese... the physical version of Fusion World is released in our stores but in an untranslated version, while the entirety of Masters for 6 years has been translated so I find that these are pretty good reasons to stay f2p x)
Once you clear the first mission for each weekly mission, there's actually 5 of each. So that's actually 300 more gems per week. Unless you're trying to go crazy with ranked I don't see a f2p player struggling with enjoying the game.
Not going to lie if you have the money spend the 60 dollars on the 6k gems. I just did and got almost every card in the set minus about 6 but that was my rng luck maybe.
@@thetonypvp4951 Besides not have both versions of certain cards I agree i have got just about them all there are cards that i cant get or craft. I'm not saying i have 4 copys of each card just at least one and yeah i am missing about 6 scrs and actually 3 sr my bad on that. the cards you cant create but have to get by leveling up i don't have cause i just started today playing it
2 packs per week is laughable. Especially when you need to have competitive decks of all 4 colors to max out. With all that, you still can't get a 10 pull once per month. The game is certainly not that expensive to jump into, but at the same time, its extremely UNfriendly to f2p. No option to break down unwanted cards is bad for players. Just a lot of really consumer unfriendly stuff. And Im such a TCG addict bitch that Imma keep giving Bandai money
Yea you and I might think like that but the mass majority does even know about TCGPLAYER ( I know that's not the only place to sell cards) or are just to lazy to even bother to sell cards
The economy system in this game is the worst specially if u consider secret rares its impossible to obtain you need to spend 180 usd and never get a completed godly deck
This codes have expiry date, maybe when they become close to expire people are gonna sell for almost nothing, so thats what I'm waiting for 😂 in the meantime im doing what I can whit only a green starter deck
Hi if you are able to provide me with a mailing address or P.O. Box then I will mail you a physical Vegeta, Goku, or Frieza deck if you let me know which one you would prefer
As a F2P who just chose Vegeta deck to begin with, I'm proud to say that I was able to win 2 ranked matches out of the 55 I did this weeks.
Bro, im main Vegeta, i believe you can do better, he has no bad match UP, and he is good agains Broly
@ nah, as soon as green reaches 6 energy, you are royally fcked with vegeta, unless you had a godhand to start with.
@ depends, if you're true f2p blue is in fact the worst choice

Love the way you broke down the prices. I been saying boosters boxes should be 59.99 and that retailers jack up the prices. The math maths.
I appreciate you watching the video thank you! And it is rough out here for real lol

Physical Cards have resell value.

Let me know if you guys are dropping money to play Dragon Ball Fusion World or if you are staying F2P?

I bought online one code card for 0.4 €. I payed nearly 120€ for all cards. Still missing 2 decks because you cant craft those cards! Thats crazy
Its better buy online codes ? And wherr you buy this codes ?

Aint no way you got the most rare cards. So they are probably the 6 youre missing

I love this! Because I feel you on this 100% we see all the problems and still just say "take my money" 😁
You can resell physical and with nice pulls make money though
Yea you and I might think like that but the mass majority does even know about TCGPLAYER ( I know that's not the only place to sell cards) or are just to lazy to even bother to sell cards
Where do you go to download the game?
Just type in dragon ball fusion world digital game in Google and the website should pop up
Physical collectors will sell their codes
Free like the Pokémon online game.
Nevermind...

That's crazy I didn't even know that so people can't even hold on to the code cards lol
we will have 2nd set and maybe even third by next year
Way more affordable compared to magic the gathering and hearthstone (which are my favorite tcgs) 😎👍
Doesn't let me craft anything that I don't already have lol
That is truly unfortunate lol.
@@NeverShopAlone No kidding, I wonder why.
Cards in constructed deck are not craftable u have to buy the deck as a whole amd u get a chance to buy every constructed deck twice
@@abadyabady2293 Seems like you cant craft premium stuff either only the basic version
no f2p craft system is so bad no event at star no gems
Yea I agree with you about the event...there should have definitely been a event at release.
