About the show: America's Got Talent of AGT is TV series aired by NBC. It is a talent show for all sort of talents and all ages. It Usually runs throughout the summer and ends in September. Starts with auditions from major cities in the US then trimmed down to quarter finals, semi then the finals. There is also the very popular Golden Buzzer given by each judge given to contestants that put them straight to the live show.

I have to point this out. Her mother is an EXTREMELY talented Russian pianist. Her father is and AMAZING Romanian Violinist. Of course she is musical. ♡

She's a child prodige. There is always one of these born with a natural golden talent for something. Whether it be singing, painting, writing, dancing, and so on.

I agree with you Evelyn. She’s only 5 and knows her lyrics and has great stage presence. There was someone far older and less talented who they kept when it would have been great to see Sophie again.

Adorable Sophie has stardom written all over her.
Finally a place where one can sing her the praises she deserves - an exceptional human with a gigantic personality and admirable voice: a work in progress. I don't know how I will cope watching her at 8 or 9 years, because the tears of joy I spilled watching in awe of her, is making me feel light headed.

Probably She is a sweet child, very humble talented and successful as she is
Whoever put this young girl down is a sick person. Yes, she didn't win but she did make it into the competition. Not only did/does have a fantastic voice but was so very brave. She came on the stage by herself didn't cringe in fear. Was very dynamic and when speaking to the judges she had perfect eye contact. Many adults have trouble with that!
As for the judges they are professionals and have their professional reasons for NOT giving her the golden buzzer.

I do believe they put this little girl down, she really deserved to win the competition, but did not get to the finals I believe. It was a matter of money, giving a contract to a small girl meant extra expenses for the show. It is sad, but her parents are bright people and handled the situation very well. We have Sophie for a long time.

No one for her to compete with in her age group to really make it fair, but I think the AGT group recognized her impressive talent and gave her the opportunity to be showcased on T.V. worldwide; and that is a huge win for her at just 5 yrs old. She undoubtedly will come back when she's older if her career is not already launched as a result of her talent exposure on AGT.

She should have gone on to the live shows. She is far more talented than Hans... and NO that’s not a homophobic comment, it’s an observation. Sophie is only 5 years old and can remember all those lyrics and has a great stage presence. The judges were wrong not to keep her.
The entertainment value must be factored in but it appears that Simon doesn't realize this. They'll probably send Riana home after promoting the sneak peek video, and both these acts will entertain America. No wonder the ratings have dropped over recent years.

Some of the videos they do are together and some are separate, but the way they do them is absolutely amazing!
