Music like what Alter Bridge creates is why I fell in love with Rock and Roll in my youth when I bought my first guitar. This is next level, top of their game musical genius. Not just simple canned or cliche riffs....truly innovative. These guys are true professionals, they are legendary in my book.

Mark Tremonti is one of the most pivotal guitarists of modern mainstream rock IMO. I used to say underrated but, Im glad to see it seems he's finally getting the recognition he deserves as a skilled musician.

Myles is an incredible guitarist. Slash even said that Myles is more technically proficient than himself. "Myles teaches me stuff. Technically he's much more proficient than I am. He knows way more about all that stuff. There's been a few times where he's shown me licks, runs, arpeggios or scales and I'm like, 'What was that?'” Can you believe being told that by SLASH??

I’ve never understood why mark doesn’t do backing vocals in the chorus of Cry of Achilles live. I feel like the harmony is what makes the chorus work!
Usually it's one of two reasons: 1) Many times in the studio a guitar player records his/her guitar parts and vocals separately and some parts are just too much to play together live. OR 2) The vocals are slightly out of the singer's range. They're able to slide the notes in the studio where they can rest their voice the next day if needed but the notes are too much to hit night after night.
@@Spladoinkal yeah but it’s neither in this case. The guitar part is very easy, I mean Myles plays it, and the lower harmony is well in Marks range.
South American crowds are the best I hope one day soon my band can play in front of a crowd like that

These guys have been my favorite band of all time since their first record in 2004.
However a little part of me wishes they sounded a little more like the studio recording when playing live.
I thibk this live is good tho...btw don't mind me I am just trying to like evry comment in this video.
