Thank you once again for another excellent video. Your camera views are amazing and offer us such panoramic glimpses of the areas. The skies and water are gorgeous blues. The colors are so crisp and give majestic shots of the mountains and hills that border your shots. Thank you so much for informative descriptions of the “London Bridge” area. Well-done!” Thanks so much!
Aloha Russ great video i was raised in havasu i lived there before the bridge i had horses there horse stable was located on the peninsula which became the island after the bridge was built as time went on an i got older I worked on the tour boat the miss havasupai she was docked at the first old dock you showed i used to swim my horses across the channel in the narrow spots of course boy those were the days I left havasu 38 years ago for Hawaii i sure miss it water sking boating had a lot of fun there had my 8th grade graduation under the bridge my mom worked in the pub good old havasu sure has changed Thank you so much for this video much much Aloha
I was out there last January, camped in the state park...had lunch at a restaurant by the bridge...it was great!I took my friend from Oklahoma with me and my daughter and grand daughter we had a blast! 🙂
Was out in Bullhead City Sunday-Tuesday @ Davis Camp, booked a vacation home and had a great time, stayed cool in the water although I got sunburnt pretty good by tuesday when it got to 101*F. Stay safe & cool out there Russ! Kyle - Pearblossom, CA.
Thank you for the visit to Havasu, mom and dad live there and always fun to see places that you know where you are! We were there in February, the nice weather made us come home and really get busy on retirement lol..
First of all I absolutely adore the ability to just travel with you! I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful it is to watch the road pass, and all that wide space; I can smell the smells, I can feel the heat, and the dry air (except for Havasu and pretty much anything along the river, so much more humidity it's awful. Other than the humidity, I adore the heat, its quite pleasant if if it's dry!). I lived down in southern Nevada for a couple of years, and I would have never returned to the north, except that I had family emergencies. One day I hope to live back down there. But I just wanted to let you know that I journey with you and I really, really, really enjoy being able to see what you explore and see!
Must be like Tulsa in the summer; wind wind wind like a blast furnace. Even the crawdads in the puddles were bright red like they were already boiled. Took some getting used to, that WIND.
Hello from Yucca, I'm staying cool inside last few days..enjoy your videos..taking me on new adventures..I made the move from WI to Sunny AZ 3 yrs ago..
Hi Russ. Thanks for the great video! One of the nicest places in the country. The place in life that I want to get to is Lake Havasu in the Winter and Lake Champlain in northern Vermont in the Summer - 6 months each. Any new "stuff" in your van that we haven't seen yet?
Ive got retired parents there in their late 70's. I worry about them. But they insist that I dont understand a "dry" heat, and that its not too bad. They have a pool and seem to love it. 😊
At the Harbor , I believe I spy large Solar panels on boats ,, saw nothing on buildings . I suppose electricity is relatively inexpensive there . Thanks for taking us along !
I'm heading to Phoenix from Southern Cal on Saturdy and I'll be stopping at Quartzsute to get gas and take a break. Thank goodness that heat advisory will be over.
Yes brother I was there in June one year for 3 weeks .It was brutal then too! LOL The most amazing thing is that the Colorado still remains quite cool despite the 100 + temps. I jumped in evry chance. ! Be safe man
Hi Russ. Thanks fot the neat tour of London Bridge. I think this staying at home is starting to get to me. I know you talk to us as you're making the videos but I'm starting to talk back to you. 😂😱 Thanks for the videos and stay cool. 🌵🌴🌵
I am a Brit from south east England. I worked in London and walked across London Bridge going to work. Spare a thought for us may struggle to mid 50s tomorrow. Take care keep safe.
Didn't you see that Lake Havasu highway department drone flying over your van, Russ, letting those back in the control center know when to change the traffic lights to red?
When I was a teenager in the 70's we would hang out at the London Bridge. Back then their was nothing much around it, not like now. The big blocks in the bridge had numbers on them when they assembled the bridge. Back then the bridge was just a walkway with lights for evening walks, it was nice, now it's a roadway. Things have changed
🙋♀️Hello Russ! A really nice day to get out & take a ride. Sure seemed a little busy at Lowes? I like the London Bridge & hope to come & enjoy the events around there one day. It was 36* this morning in Independence, Va., be careful out there in this heat, Russ. Enjoyed the drone coverage of Lake Havasu. So green looking.
Do a night vlog with the full moon out. I think itll be nice to see the stars and moon at night. Just a suggestion. I would appreciate it though. Love your channel.
Yeah, I have a lot of friends who moved to Arizona or Nevada because it is cheaper than California. Then starting around May the heat reports start up. I'm real sensitive to heat, so I'm not moving. Do take care over there. Drink your water.
Hello Sir, excellent video as always. We went to Willow Beach yesterday to do a Kayaking video and there is a new change for your viewers. The big jam of cars you saw at the entrance on your recent video is because they now require an annual pass to enter, and you have to purchase it online so the cars at the entrance were probably trying to get service like we had too. Apparently no transactions in person. Not sure if that is just there or at other National recreation areas and parks. It was very full in the Willow Beach area as well. Thanks for your videos.
Not here in Ohio...we have a high of 42 today and its getting down to 28 degrees tonight which will be record low for this date...cool weather for the next 7 days
Hello Russ. Ben here from southwest Saskatechewan, Canada. Our forecast maximum temperature today is 55 degrees (currently 44 F). Tell you what...we'll gladly trade 20 of your hot degrees for 20 of our cold degrees. what do you say?
yeah, place is empty, its that time of the year when its nice there before it gets tooo hot... place looks really nice right now , like it like that.. don't really care for the ZOO...
Very Informative. Thank you. We love Arizona. Do lots of Rockhounding. We've been to Quartzsite, Lake Hasavu, Parker, and it's all awesome to visit. Didn't make it this year due to the pandemic. Hope to next year.
I have lived in ARIZONA for 50+ years. The only reason they put out a exercise heat warning is because the temp is higher then the average temp 100 in May. IT hot AT 120 or higher is hot! IF YOU CANT HANDLE THE HEAT GET OUT OF ARIZONA!
Where are you originally from? I detect a Midwestern accent. Love your videos especially now being home-bound. It's like a mini vacation. Your aerial view of the bridge and lake are spectacular!
Lived in Havasu 83 to 85, about . Absolutely amazing how it has grown. Think I liked it better as I recall it. Enjoy your channel.
Russ when has Lake Havasu not been under an excessive heat warning

Thanks. I love this area. We bike, kayak and just walk around when there. Just a nice town.

Bravo , Thank you Russ for RVer TV - your videos.

So are you saying it's more humid along the Colorado River but elsewhere it's a dry heat?
I don't fully understand humidity.
100 degrees is perfect...it doesn't start to get really hot until it 105 and above! 😉
Must be like Tulsa in the summer; wind wind wind like a blast furnace. Even the crawdads in the puddles were bright red like they were already boiled. Took some getting used to, that WIND.

Thanks for braving the heat for us, beautiful skies. Really enjoyed the trip. The bridge would definitely be neat to see in person. Be safe. 😊👍

I love Lake Havasu!
Lake Havasu City...you gotta try The Jim Smoke Special at The Red Onion...mmmm what a good steak!!
At the Harbor , I believe I spy large Solar panels on boats ,, saw nothing on buildings .

Good job again Russ...Pat on the back n tall cold one for you
THANKS!
I live 45 minutes away in Golden Valley. To me Havasu in summer is like cooking a pizza then stepping into the Oven to eat.
Russ, here's hoping you have the opportunity to hit the road after Memorial Day. Best of luck!
They are calling it a heatwave but it's not even 120° yet. I've seen 138° here in Havasu last summer.
Hi Russ. Thanks fot the neat tour of London Bridge. I think this staying at home is starting to get to me. I know you talk to us as you're making the videos but I'm starting to talk back to you. 😂😱 Thanks for the videos and stay cool. 🌵🌴🌵

Good day

too funny
Crooked city...that's for sure...weird!!!
We had a campsite at Crazy Horse that was until 5/19, but it was too darn hot 🥵so we left 5/1 and drove back to Mn. Now the lows here are in the 30s😱

And you'd float in Inter tubes with a beer in the canal area..pull the boat up on the sand and watch all the jet boats go by.. Long time ago..lol
Great vi thanks
Snow showers today in SW PA. Give me your sunny dry weather.
My wife's sister in northern New Hampshire is expecting 3" of snow tonight & rain tomorrow.
After its being shipped over in pieces, bet the re-assembly of the bridge was something to watch
Russ, the l=Lake Havasu people should pay you for this promotions. It's fantastic.
I remember when we bought it. Long time ago.
Hard to believe someone packed that bridge over here brick by brick. Nice drone shots.

I am use to hundreds and 90% humidity and the heat hits you coming down and going back up too

Hopefully, all that good insulation is doing its job :-)
He friend good to hearing you,,,, would love to know what kinda music you like to play while driving thru the desert..... stay safe always God bless.
Shouldn’t Quartzite be at least starting to wind down or are people sticking around longer because of the virus?
Its not hot here yet.
this guy isnt from around here.its been so nice so far.
That is pretty hot...I'm in Ohio and it's going to drop into the 20's tonight...Crazy times....crazy weather...stay safe.....

It’s 43 with a feels like of 35 in northwest Missouri this morning. Haha.

Is your Sprinter gas or diesel? With the wind there and the temperature it must feel like you are in a convection oven.
Russ: "There it is the London Bridge". Girls in bathing suits walk by, pans to girls. LOL Can't say that I wouldn't do the same.
I would have zoomed in
If you want to travel, then travel. This is America, and you travel with your own place to stay. Just boondock somewhere. I don’t see the problem.
Lived there 20 years 150 days a year over 110
another great video, thanks
What are you using on your van to make the video so stable? Nice video thanks for sharing
Great drone shots loved it
And if anyone wants to send some cooler weather 😉 we can spare you a lot of the heat 😉🔥
Summer's getting an early start.
Not here in Ohio...we have a high of 42 today and its getting down to 28 degrees tonight which will be record low for this date...cool weather for the next 7 days
@@toledojeeper2932 Same icy weather here in N. Illinois, crazy.
Where do you go to escape the heat?
My house
How are the Airtabs working out?
Hello Russ. Ben here from southwest Saskatechewan, Canada. Our forecast maximum temperature today is 55 degrees (currently 44 F). Tell you what...we'll gladly trade 20 of your hot degrees for 20 of our cold degrees. what do you say?
Since when is 101F hot? In the 80's-90's it was 116F all summer. I never had A/C in my 4x4's.
Hope that wind blows heat to the northeast. Brrr.
It’s not even that hot here yet haha
but it is different heat no humidity
I thought that you were heading to the mountains?
We are expecting frost here in the morning, it's a weird world we live in.
Snow here. Can't make this year up...lol
yeah, place is empty, its that time of the year when its nice there before it gets tooo hot... place looks really nice right now , like it like that.. don't really care for the ZOO...

Very Informative. Thank you. We love Arizona. Do lots of Rockhounding. We've been to Quartzsite, Lake Hasavu, Parker, and it's all awesome to visit. Didn't make it this year due to the pandemic. Hope to next year.
HOT, not .🤣🤣🤣, you're in for a treat come July 😭😭😭😭😭
Do they let people swim in the lake?
Excessive heat, stick around and hold my beer this aint nothing yet. I moved here last aug.
Dip up a glass of that water & see what color it is... water has no color unless its poluted!
Great walk Russ.

Hey, stop hogging all the heat, 😝 we need some here in Chicago where we have a freeze warning for tonight 😲
Heard predictors talking of snow in two weeks in the area
Quit bragging it's 47F here...
