- MERMAIDS AT THE BOYNE CITY PIRATE FESTIVAL (2022) - Every August, Boyne City, Michigan is overrun with pirates and the water is flooded with mermaids. It's a pretty awesome family-friendly event. This video shows some footage from the event. There's much more to the event than depicted, but one can only fit so much into a 2 minute video. Hehehe! Normally, us mermaids would be a lot more active (we didn't swim much this year) but the weather was oddly cold, so we mostly just chilled. :3
Thank you so much to this year's Pirate Fest Pod for helping to bring magic to Boyne City. And thank you to the pirates of the Boyne City Pirate Festival for making this event happen. It's always a great time. The main event day always falls on the second Saturday in August, so make sure you mark your 2023 calendar for next year's event! ;D

Sorry Phantom for being mia. I was grounded but now i’m back. My laptop is in for repairs which is a bummer cause i need it for an upcoming video on my channel. I pray it’ll be repaired in time. Glad you had fun in Boyne City at the pirate festival i stayed in my lair all weekend like a vampire should. I made a spear from materials i had lying around for a costume for an upcoming convention, non metal spear of course. The security at the convention would steak me if i walked into a convention with a real weapon. So i only make props out of foam and cardboard.

If you want to see real pirates come to my state NC. In 1996 they found Queen Ann’s Revenge Blackbeard pirate ship. There is a museum about Maritime history you can see many things from the ship. In Southport NC there is another maritime museum about the Gentleman Pirate Steed Bonnet. He was found and a battle happen near the mouth of Cape Fear River. At the islands this time around fall they have pirate festivals about pirates. Also the History Museum in Raleigh has an area about pirates in NC.
There is a ghost town and civil war fort at the coast around the 1720’s or 1730’s the harbor and town was raided by Spanish pirates. 🧜♀️🧜🧜♂️🏴☠️😃
