Yesterday was the one-year anniversary of me posting the original call for this MAP! It's lost a bit of steam, but we're getting close to finishing, so I thought I'd try to reinvigorate some interest by showing off the amazing work everyone has done so far!
As it says in the title, there are currently parts open, so please do ask if you're interested in joining! In the video, parts that are taken but have no video WIP or complete part are blurred, and open parts just show their part number on the video's thumbnail. Of course, openings are subject to change as parts are taken or dropped, so please refer to the part list in the description here or in the description of the original MAP call to see which parts are open.
Backups are also needed badly, and there is no limit to how many backups there can be, so please feel free to apply as a backup as well if you'd prefer! The thumbnail contest is also still open, and there's been lots of great entries so far! Please join in the competition if you'd like!
Original description:
This is a semi-scripted MAP, so there are some parts with specific directions, and some parts where you can choose what you want to draw!
There will also be a thumbnail contest for the finished MAP - rules are available in the Discord server, and anyone is welcome to join!
All info (rules/parts list/etc.) here: docs.google.com/document/d/1H... READ BEFORE ASKING FOR A PART. I have not used codewords in my MAP calls before but due to problems with people not reading the rules one has been added, and you will not be allowed to join if you don't use the codeword!

Ask for parts in the comments (comments both here or on the original MAP call will be checked, but please refer to the pinned comment on the original MAP call if you choose to comment there), or, if you aren't active on UA-cam and would like to join, you can contact me on Twitter or Instagram (linked on my channel).
We've got animators of all experience levels working on it so far, so I really encourage you to ask for a part even if you haven't joined a MAP before or otherwise don't have much experience!

Hi there! I'd like to apply for a backup of Part 18. My favorite bugsnak would have to be Bunger, although I have a soft spot for Kweeble and Razzby as well. Concept would be the grumpuses looking disappointed by their lives on the mainland, before switching to the same grumps excitedly showing each other their new huts in Snaxburg. Floofty and Snorpy will definitely be included, but other grumps might be added along the way.

a little late to the party, but if i can, i'd like to apply for a backup for part 33, or any instrumental with a free-ish script please! and my favorite bugsnak is chillynilly... ever since i put the chandlo hat on it, i cannot leave it out of the barn it's so adorble. and my fav grumpus is easily floofty haha
as for my personal script for the instrumental bits, it depends which part i end up backing up for but if for part 33, i had an idea of it showing everyone lifting off together on the balloon ship, and floofty looking down at their strabbified leg (that they ended up losing) with either a mildly worried or relaxed sorta look on their face. as for any other parts, i'd probably do something with snorpy and the baby cakelegs!

The thumbnail should be a combination on all the artstyles. That would be fucking amazing and a cool way to show the different artist’s styles.

My fav bugsnax is chillynilly because he is chill😎 and if not can I be a back up I want to show the grumpuses on the beach holding a camera while all standing beach then a flash appears then it shows a picture of all the grumpuses together and it fades out (also with the picture I can show my non animation art)

i have a lot fo beloved snax but my favourites are for sure the preying picantis, scoopy banoopy and lovely sweetiefly because i can't choose just one !!! i love sweetiefly's snakscope quote [sob sob] and preying picantis has a nice flow with it's design. scoopy banoopy is just purely adorable & also breaks into cheery which also [sob sob]

I finished Bugsnax the other day and its become my comfort game!
Its really hard to pick a favorite, but probably Chandlo as his drive and respect for everybody just made me love every time I saw him. (Floofty is a close second).Im down to draw any of the grumpuses really, though maybe Liz and Egg on an adventure together would be cute though I also like dark things so maybe what Liz described in her interview when she first fell into the Snax.
