This method is so easy, and it really works beautifully. I love that you don't cut the ribbon until the very end. I did use pipe cleaners and they worked very well, even on large bows.
Ohh you again, what are the odds. I keep falling in love over and over again each time I randomly come upon your videos lmao I forgot why I even searched this😊
Very pretty bow making. I don't think I've ever seen zip ties used for this. Wondering if that'd make it more expensive than using a spool of 20 or 18-gauge wire? BTW: I disagree w/the previous comment about speeding up the video. Yeah, I get bored too when some videos take f-o-r-e-v-e-r to do some basic stuff. But the unfurling of the ribbon into the pouf bow, I think, is really crucial to people who may not know the correct way to do this to achieve the beautiful effect you did. Thanks for all your tutorials and attention to detail. Merry Christmas!
It wasn't expensive at all to get the pack of zipties and they are much stronger than wire. I'm sorry I sped up that part if people needed to see it, I thought it was just self-explanatory that I was moving all the loops away from the center. Merry Christmas to you too and thanks for your comment Jay!
Thanks for the video, super clear to me now, I'll make the 1st one for my presents next Xmas. Truly thanks. I need to find a good one for wrapping I struggle with that...wasting a lot of paper every single year.
Your bows are nice. The last one you made would look good in front of the mirror behind you. I do also, agree with the many comments on how you didn't show the twisting and the way you sped the video up to 100 miles an hour. What was that about?
This is exactly what I was looking for. I'll be making one for my door, which i covered with wrapping paper. This will really make it look like a giant present. TY and Happy Holidays!
I'm so happy I found your bow tutorial and i did subscribe because I like to take tutorials from people who can break things down and not overcomplicate therefore totally losing me or I should say I lose them . I have a ton of wreaths to make and i really just started but I realized after making 1 tonight that I really couldn't make a dang bow and that's not gonna work. I copied 1 person's tutorial(no names) but my bow looks more like it belongs on a gift as there's no tails so not happy with that and then you came along and between her really helping me getting started on my wreaths you have in fact help me "finish" them with a beautiful bow cause if I can't follow your instructions well I'm hanging it up and buying ready made ones ... Thanks again Feliz Navidad
The part where the bow is being separated and fluffed out was fast forwarded - this is the part that I needed the most...Is there another video where this is able to be watched through with normal time? Thanks
Oh I'm sorry I thought that was self explanatory. If you are using wire edged ribbon it is easy to pull apart your bow and manipulate its shape to be large loops. The key here is securing the center tightly so you can really pull on the bow loops and separate them. There is no particular method to pulling the bow loops apart from each other. Did that answer your question? Or is there something else I can elaborate for you?
@@WelcometotheWoodsBlog oh thank you so much. I did not expect an answer today of all days. I was making a display for Thanksgiving and getting so frustrated because I could not pull the loops apartment appropriately. The display looks okay and people who have never done bows say it looks great but I know it could look better. Thank you again so kind of you to answer. Please have a blessed holiday season. I love the video other than the fact that that part of the process is my weakness
Elaine Mickley I have to agree. Although it is self explanatory I too am finding this the hardest bit and have a guide to this would be easier (sometimes seeing it done is easier to do)
I SWEAR, I was watching someone last night make Bows, and he used Pipe Cleaners. Since I didn't have Pipe Cleaners, I thought, "Oh well, I'll just use Zip Ties!" TO MY SURPRISE, YOU USED THE SAME THING!!!! GREAT MINDS, RIGHT?!
Well, for the most part I got it. The second one does that first circle need to be bigger when you want a bigger bow? Also I made your first bow that was not the same on both sided. But I did turn them , but something wasn’t right
They are the same. The older people years ago, called them pipe cleaners because that's what they were used for. The name later on in years got changed.
She is so simple, step by step, slow enough moving to follow. Great!
Omg you're the best! Hardly anyone teaches how-to's as detailed as you, Thank you! ❤️

My favorite video yet. The speed up was confirmation that you understood the assignment..
Thanks
Your video is the BEST instructional video for bow making! Thank you!
Have made many bows but never used the zip ties. Great idea!!
So much easier than any other page I've found! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!! BOWS FOR EVERYONE!!
Where is the "I love it" button?
Best video ever!
Thank you
Aw thanks!
Ohh you again, what are the odds. I keep falling in love over and over again each time I randomly come upon your videos lmao I forgot why I even searched this😊
Thank You! Perfect for beginner like me...since there is no cutting you can start over and make corrections.
Thank you! I had single sided ribbon and this tutorial saved my bacon!

You made this look super easy thank you❤❤😘
Thank you for lovely tips on bows.
Your video was the best out of 6 videos I watched!! Thank you!

I like to make my gift bows out of ribbon instead of wrapping paper because then they're reusable next year!
Youre bows are all Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍
Thank you!! It worked!! The zip tie is a great tip.
Yay! Happy wrapping 🥰
Thanks for the inspiration. Tree topper bow came out well!
I wish I could attach a photo. With your help my Christmas tree complete!

Very pretty. 👍🤗
Thank you. Looks easy. I’ll try.
Best demo ever😊
Thank you it was beautiful result ❤
Question : But how would u attach the bow to present?
This is exactly what I was looking for. I'll be making one for my door, which i covered with wrapping paper. This will really make it look like a giant present. TY and Happy Holidays!
You are so smart! Jesus Im so grateful! I swear you must be a Virgo/Pisces

Thanks, my first time making a bow and it turned out ok 💕
I am so damn bow challenged. I hope I can master the first bow. Thanks for your video.
very pretty, this is why I got myself a bow maker :) Thank you for you video
I made the first bow and it turned out nice! Thanks for the tutorial!
BEAUTIFUL
Very cool trick. Love it. But can that method be used with multiple ribbons
Yes, absolutely! Usually I'd alternate ribbons during the twisting part if I'm using multiple.
Awesome amazing great job
You made this so easy for me! Thank you so much for sharing and teaching. You are an awesome teacher!
Thanks so much.
Thank you, this was very helpful!
Great teach!!!!
Is it possible to staple the center of the bow if no zip ties?
i am a beginner in making bows , but your video was excellent for me to learn . thanks

Gracias por compartir, está manera de hacerlo es mucho más fácil. Me encantó 😘😘😘

Nice.. thanks
Excellent
Absolutely beautiful
You are simply awesome. Thanks a million
Thanks Marina! I hope you find this tutorial useful in the coming season :)
You can also use color zip ties so they blend in easier
Two different channels. Same video. Smart.
What do you mean? What other channel did you see this video?
Thank you!!
If you stick the zip tie into the flat side it will go in a lot easier.
Very pretty bow. But slower in the “fluff it up” phase so we can see how you did it.
Nice 😊
You make it look doable!! Thanks
Could I staple this?
What is the length of the ribbon you are using for this tutorial?
nice tutorial
Thank you. I love making them too! New subbie here. Take care
Thanks 🙏🙏🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹🙏🥰😊

What size ribbons
Awesome ❤
Drop your ribbon spool on the floor --it is easier to handle.
I lost her the second time she sped up
Precioso y fácil graciaspor compartir (por favor podrian escrir o traducir)
Will the bow ends fray?
Hi, Can you have the same effect with using satin non-wired ribbon?
I'm sorry, but it will not stand up without wire
They do make zip ties in red ,green black too
Thank u, perfect instructions💋. Beautiful bow🎀
Thank You 😘 Merry Christmas I subscribed 😁
Thank you!
One tip is saw on You tube is to remove the top edge of the ribbon spool. The ribbon comes off so much easier!
I absolutely loved this video! Thank you for all the tips and tricks!
Thanks
Achei fácil e muito bonito. Amei!
I will still need to practice 10x straight lol
What size zip ties did you use?
What in the world is a chenelle stem or whatever it's called, is it not just a pipe cleaner? Are they different?
They are the same. The older people years ago, called them pipe cleaners because that's what they were used for. The name later on in years got changed.
