I'm 54 yrs young. My Grandma used to play this on Sun mornings as we dressed for church. It's been a long time since hearing it, and I didn't know Aretha sang it. Wow...what beautiful memories. I smell my Grandmas stinky perfume. Miss you Dear 💝💝

I can't love you enough Aretha for leaving such a vocal expression of love. Wow! See they talk about all these other singers and not one of them can tie the shoelaces of this delivery. Aretha mastered so many genres. But, this song here helps me witness the transitioning of my Dad from dementia. Ok. She tore that song up. I was mad it wasn't in the Amazing Grace release.
I listened to this song 30 years ago and never wonder what it meant, I just sang along with Aretha, but I thank the Lord Jesus, that when I was 41 I heard the gospel message I ask Him that He would forgive me of my sins, and accept His gift of salvation. Praise His wonderful name.
This is my favorite song on the album. I was disappointed that it didn't make it into the documentary movie (Amazing Grace). I'm hoping the video is out there and will be included on as an extra a deluxe bluray.
