Loved the idea behind the Lumiere shot. As a street photographer myself, I have been trying to incorporate different layers into a shot recently. I felt your analysis on Faizal's reflection photography work falls on the same realm.
Disfruté mucho tu selección de música para este video, a veces me canso de mis playlists de Lofi y pongo un video tuyo para escuchar música de fondo, never fails!
The reflection shot at 9:26 is great. With that said though, I'd say my favourite from this video might be 11:52 because I like the expression on his face that seems like genuine interest and the way he's dressed with those glasses hanging around his neck. 2:15 is close also, love the reaction of the girl on the right.
My favourite is of course the Lumiere photo 7:49. I like this style, and it's what I shoot most. Space, but decorated with people. I also like the tile alley series from 3:24. The gopro got a great shot and then the mood captured with the all the texture and context was very cool. I enjoy this dual camera set up. I actually use a X-T2 with their famous 50f2, and an X70 which is Fujifilm's GRII competitor. I did it this way because I thought it would match the output and I wouldn't have to edit as much. I was wrong. The differences in look between the generations is huge. 😬 ✌️
Thanks for your comment. Indeed the action cam did a great job at handling the dynamic range there. That's the tricky thing with using 2 different cameras, matching the colors and contracts in post can be difficult ^^'
Hey mate just curious on your thoughts on the griii vs the x I’m thinking about possibly picking one up as a pocket cam for edc and street photography videos I currently use and a7iv aswell as a x100v
Hey, it all comes down to personal preference and what you want to use it for. Maybe the 28mm one will be better to compliment your X100V with a wider field of view. But if you don't like to shoot that wide don't force it. If I could choose again I would go for the X as I like more a tighter field of view but the 28mm is awesome for more carefree shooting and capturing simple memories and daily life
it's nice to leave the sounds of the street in the background. it immerses us a little more in the atmosphere. Thanks
Thanks for your comment. Really helpful because I did not know if it was a good thing or not.
Your self-portrait is my fav.
Haha merci Guillaume

Indeed, I really like when you can look at a picture for a while and take time to get a full grasp of all the details. Thanks for your comment
Lumiere is an absolute banger! The last 6-7 images are all fantastic.
Thanks! Happy to see that we agree on the Lumiere shot. Indeed I was also satisfied by the last few pictures too 😊

Ahhh yeah, loving the 85mm shots. Gr also but the 85 are my favourite. I’m gonna shoot some with this focal length next time I’m out.
Thanks! Yes, the 85mm brings such a fresh perspective in the context of street photography, I love it
