- 🔴 Pișoaia Waterfall is a landscape reservation located in the northwestern part of Alba County, in the Apuseni Mountains, not far from the Găina massif. It covers an area of 5 ha. The access point to the Pișoaia nature reserve is the village of Nemeși.
Also known as Vidra Waterfall or Muierii Waterfall, it has a story behind it. It is said that two lovers lived in this area. She came from a wealthy family, while he was poor. As the girl's parents opposed the relationship, she jumped from a height and the flowing water represents the girl's tears in the story.
