I honestly appreciate this toyline. Normally we’d just get a few core characters and maybe like, one vehicle - but they seem to be tackling a ton of ships, all sorts of characters and variations and even an upcoming playset.
Man you hit the nail on the head! Exactly what I've been saying. I love how all out Mattel has gone with this line with all the figures/variants/vehicles/creatures and such. You never see toy lines like this anymore. It's such a throwback to the 90's!
The white ver. of the zyclops didnt make the movie cut but they did in the minecraft map but instead of being janitors they’re labeled as “Guardians” and serve as boss fights
That it’s an amazing set! Men i wish we had a wave 3, the amount of toys and variants they put out was was really beautiful, it was a good run of toys and ships I will always remember this film and this year very fondly!
I really hope they do these toys 1. Zyclops with Zurg 2. Old buzz and Sox And zurg suit that you can open 3. 3 zyclops black yellow and red 4. Small apartment were buzz lives (including Sox and buzz) 5. Accessories for charcters (energy crystal and launcher and more) That’s my wishlist!
I'm thinking maybe Mattel should release a pack similar to the Recruits to the Rescue pack but with the characters in their upgraded suits at the end of the film, maybe also as a Target exclusive. And as a nice touch it could have the backdrop carboard inside the packaging as the ship they're in when they fly off to their new mission, like the Armadillo backdrop from the RTTR pack.
Exactly what I've been thinking all along! Those final suit figures would be PERFECT for a multi-pack. Great minds think alike! ;) I actually thought about doing a top Lightyear figures wish-list video and that would be part of it.

Another kick-butt review, Dan! I was super excited to see the red Zyclops, but I wish he was pristine like the red guards in Star Wars. I actually would have preferred a battle damaged yellow Zyclops. Oh, well. Hopefully we'll get more and more Zyclops to army build. I noticed the price on the regular Zyclops has gone up. Hopefully that's a good sign they're selling well.

It honestly looks cool, but the price seems odd. It’s the same price or a little more expensive than buying those figures separately (obviously minus Izzy and color exclusives). I feel like with the amount of reuse it should be a bit cheaper. Maybe I just want crazy deals. Haha
Yah the $37.99 I paid feels about right though even though it is an uncommon price for sure. It does makes sense when you break it down since it's an $18 deluxe figure + two $10 figures = $38 so I can see where that price came from. Now the $42.99 it is right NOW does not make sense lol. That is an odd price no doubt and a bit too high.
Dunno, dont like those battle damages on The zyclops, hope they come with a non exclusive versions with no dirt on, maybe in a two pack with the black zyclops
