Is it just me, or did they put more effort into dancing back then, giving a stronger vibe when dancing, as you sometimes see with trainees? (Although the trainees/backup dancers come out too strong and without grace.)
They said that as they got older dancing can be very tiring for them
it's a stamina problem - the younger you are, the more stamina you have
dancing and singing is hard. and this looks like they were singing live.

The dancer put effort in dancing but the camera man often just ignore that by just focusing on face. If focus so much on their face might as well ask them to sing and not dance at all.

This is clearly 💯 live.. u can hear in their voices their trying to catch their breath while singing.. hope kpop groups nowadays would do this too, not just rely on the back track.. that's why SNSD is always up there and even now, not a single girl group has been able to replace them or be in par w/ them in terms of talent, visual and harmonization..
