I realized after my third watching of the MV that they were always being blocked from expressing their feelings for the girl they like. She was so busy with her friends that she didn’t pay them any attention. It was like they were invisible to her. So as they are remembering the events, they are rewriting their memories of what happened. They each turn her friends into her boyfriend because it is easier to accept. After all, it’s easier to say to yourself that you aren’t the type of person who would break up a relationship because of your own feelings than it is to admit to yourself that the person you like doesn’t really know you exist. Also the part that killed me was at the end…. If you look at I.N’s painting, he was drawing her holding the flowers but had only painted a couple of the flowers.
Also the unfinished painting could mean something, like the story is not over or that they left their story when it was half finished instead of continuing it, or something. Just a thought. 🤷♀️
