Wanted to do a video to showcase the Air Force/space force mess dress uniform. They are pretty much the same thing with the only difference being a space force lapel pin and space force Chevrons.
This uniform can be a whopping 500 bucks.
Just trying to fulfill the say "Space Force" requirement.
Gotta hit the criteria
Current Space Force ROTC cadet here. I've been looking at the mess dress since I'll probably be getting married in a couple years, so the fact that this was JUST posted is quite convenient. Thanks!
Can you make a video on the others uniforms that you have? Probably explaining a bit the ribbons and badges would be interesting. Thank you💪🏻
FYI: proper way to where a cumberbund…think ‘crumb catcher’, so wear it with the pleats opening upwards, so they can ‘catch the crumbs’ as you tear into your bread!
PS…I work Housing Maintenance on an AF base…just curios…what is happening with your AC unit…tell me the symptoms.

This video must be a few years old. The Space Force has their own stripes now, and their own dress uniform.
It’s new but you are correct, I mentioned that in the video. The Space Force has new stripes and new dress uniform(which still hasn’t been fielded operationally). But it does not have a different mess dress than the Air Force. 🫡
When I worked at Holland America Line I was issued with mess dress. The only bits I had to buy myself were the shirt, bow tie, gold chain and cufflinks. Being a prestigious cruise line, we had a formal evening at least once a cruise, so I could be wearing it quite regularly depending on which watch I was working and if I was available to attend the event.

I am getting mines custom made currently. Hoping to get some good use out of it considering the cost of the uniform lol
TSgt. Matugas, USSF : Can the Air Force - Space Force Mess Dress be worn for Military Funerals, Promotion Ceremonies, etc. ?
I’d say the Mess Dress is similar to the use of a tuxedo. In terms of a military funeral a service dress would be more appropriate.

btw the cummber und is too high, it's supposed to cover the waist band of the pants

UGH your an NCO please research Shirt Garters hold your shirt down and fasten to your socks , Your suspenders hold your pants up notice no belt the cumber bun has to be worn to hide the suspender connection to the pants. The uniform itself can be worn to any formal occasion civilian or military, It has its roots in the Army Mess Dress but i like the Airforce Blue better.
