Berlin Cathedral looks like something from a fairytale. It is so gothic, gigantic and breathtaking. Plus the many gardens and forests filled in Berlin makes this city even more beautiful.

Berlin is one of the most underrated cities in Europe. It's not as popular as London and Paris, but it's just as spectacular as those megacities. When people think of Berlin, they think of Hitler, the Berlin Wall, etc. However, Berlin has many attractions, like Potsdamer Platz, the Berlin tiergarten, the Berlin Zoo, and the Berlin Hauptbahnhof, which is an amazing rail terminal.

My favourite European city. Hamburg and Munich are also beautiful. Germany is by far the richest country in Europe and you can see it.
***** actually according to pretty much every list by the UN, CIA and World Bank Germany is the richest country in Europe (4th in the world) with the highest GDP and purchasing power. The two European countries trailing Germany are France and UK. Switzerland is like 20th on that list. Luxembourg has the highest average income in Europe but I don't think that's a very good indicator of a countries wealth, seeing as it is much smaller than Germany and overall doesn't produce as much revenue. I wouldn't doubt that much of Germany's wealth is being stored in Swiss banks though lol.
***** Yeah, I guess they aren't. The countries with the richest people in Europe are the small ones that barley have any taxes, considered often to be 'tax havens' like Luxembourg, Switzerland and Monaco. Rich people flock there because they get to keep most of their income and those countries generally have very business-friendly laws. I guess that's what you were referring to, but calling these small nations themselves 'the richest in Europe' is pretty misleading because they don't generate nearly as much wealth as the economic giants and don't have nearly as much influence. They are essentially the equivalent of private resorts for billionaires in which they don't have to pay taxes to support the lower class because there essentially is no lower class. As for the Scandinavian countries they are mostly Socialist so the richest Europeans definitely do not live there. If they have better living conditions it's because they have more benefits than Germans like social-welfare, health care and better pensions.

Germany is 5th in the world in GDP PPP as a country. Nowhere near the top in per capita. And both are entirely irrelevant units of measurement. If Bill Gates went to Lithuania and spent all his money their revenue would quadruple. But they'd just be met with a massive income inequality problem without actually becoming 4x richer. GDP PPP for a country would place Russia as the second richest country in Europe, which is ridiculous. And GDP per capita places Qatar as the richest in the world just because of rich ass billionaires, without counting all the slaves that are dirt broke.
GDP either nominal or PPP (Nominal being even more irrelevant than PPP), per capita or per country is way too simple to accurately measure anything.
This city is impressively laid out and beautiful. Don't know why it is so understated

I visited Berlin last month. Magnificent historical places, fresh air and super beautiful jungle ... I recommend Berlin to live for awhile, not just staying for short vacation like me (so sad about that)

We love Berlin. There are many things to do here. The food and beer is soooo good! We had a lot of fun in Markthalle Neun and watched the Germany vs Sweden 2018 World Cup match in BRLO Brwhouse.
Berlin has so much history some good some bad. It is a very livery city and so proactive.

As a person that is used to super large crowds everywhere, in my home country of India, the relatively sparsely populated city scapes of Berlin give me an eery feeling of emptiness, but that's just me. Quite the beautiful city, and looks amazingly organized and clean. Cheers.
