- What is it that we celebrate in Ramadan? In this inspiring khutbah on the eve of the Holy Month, Ustadh Nouman takes us back to the story of Adam (AS) who was so dignified by Allah that He spoke to him directly. But even though Allah dismissed Adam from janna, He promised to give him a way back up through repeated guidance. Allah promised those who follow this guidance that they will know no fear or sadness in this life. The last time this promise was fulfilled was when Allah sent his final message, the Quran. In Ramadan Allah revealed his extended rope from the sky to the earth to teach us that there is hope, no matter how lost we feel or how far we have fallen. Ramadan is the opportunity Allah gave us to celebrate our connection with Him.

Same here. When I come to other place that give me a sermon, I just get a conclusion that how harsh this religion, how can I be forgiven, Allah is angry to me. I am just someone who surely will go to the hell. But Nouman change my paradigm, I see the mercifull of Allah, how beauty that is.

Alhamdulillah for your lectures and duas. I know not a Muslim in my area, the suburbs of Austin. One would think that I would be swarmed by Muslim brothers and sisters. But working 24/7 to provide and commuting to work, it leaves no time for visiting masjid. Nor I have any hopes to find any peace there. You go and pray, and no one would say even Salam to you. Masjid is a place of tears for it reminds me of my late husband. It has passed 19 years since but it still hurts as it was yesterday. Allah is sufficient for me. Alhamdulillah for everything. Ramadan Mubarak. So thank you for your speeches of encouragement.

Alhamdillulah. Observed the first iftaar of 2020 while listening to this khutbah. Right now I am away from family, got stuck with Covid-19 regulations, but alhamdilulah for everything. YOU made my iftaar so easy.

About nine months ago I was ready to breathe out the last bit of hope inside of me. Then, in a most special way, I got saved by Allahs message, the Noble Qur'an. I just took my Shahada a few weeks ago and I am so happy and grateful to be Muslim now.

how incredibly explain it.very few scholars I ve been listening. as bengoly urdu... they all are good on their owns.but when I was listening nouman ali,it is like--- I was just in my dream.(u know some of dream are so many twist, so many thrill and those ended as incomplete that when we open our eyes,we can not get over our dream at that moment, we feel very unsecured)

Masha Allah. This notion that this world is a punishment is one of the reasons many people give up on life. If people realised the blessings in this life and showed constant gratitude they would feel so much better about themselves and others. Trials and tribulations come to all of us, but they’re not impossible to overcome, Allah doesn’t give trials unless He knows we can overcome them. May Allah bless and guide us upon the truth, ameen.
