I learned of this peice the other night when a girl in my daughter's violin studio at CU Boulder played it for her senior recital. I don't know if the pianist didn't get the peice, but this isn't the kinda peice you can just hit the right notes on. You gotta dig in and play it for all its worth. You guys obviously get this peice and played the hell out of it! Masterful! Absolutely extraordinary! I would have never fallen in love with it if not for this recording.

This pianist GROOOVES like a jazzy lady!!! Amazing technical and musical ability on violin too.
