I have a *Redmi Note 9* and after 2 yrs I can say that this phone is trash because of it's system, it crashes frequently.

I use the same device it is kinda laggy on software but it doesn't crash, maybe its because you have 3gb ram model?

True. My redmi note 9 pro has been broken so much since I updated it to MIUI 12.5 and I only used it for 2 years and half. It's restarted for no reason, its camera blank, it even can't be used for WiFi anymore (I brought it to service center and it told me to fix the ICC even motherboard which cost me over 40% of the phone's price). That's why I'm back to Samsung.
I never trusted Mainland China phone ever since then.
my thoughts after 3 years of using:
- lagging
- crashing at least once in 2h of using
- cant handle more than 2 apps in backgrounds
- cant play any games even retro games are running below 60fps
- slow charging
- speaker is clean and still really bad sound quality
not usable
That's why Xiaomi is only for less than 3 years use. It may have good performance at first, but after long time use, its durability degraded.
Better stick to Samsung.
2.5 years with mine so far, don't play many heavy games just a bunch of Gameboy and Gameboy advance roms, making my phone a retro console and a space for many apps and light picture and video production, 128gb internal memory is just enough with the occasional cleaning every few months, pulling through in 2023 after purchasing during October 2020.
Don't buy it, it can't even run basic apps stable. Worst Smartphone experience I ever had.
I got it for 60 Bucks and I overpaid for it let that sink in.
So I have redmi note 9 its 3/64 its overheating and lagning can you help me?
i have this phone and its not great. youube takes 7 seconds to open, google runs horribly, and the ui is unintuitive with the new updates. i want to switch to a google pixel or a samsung.
the 128/6 variant is not that laggy until now even after the update but the lower variants became unstable after the 12.0.8.0 update

dont ever buy this phone i have normal version of redmi note 9 and i can say its trash its battery drains so fast because of overheating and it crashes for no reason but pro version is good my friend have note 9 pro and its 100x better than this version
Nope buddy. My Redmi Note 9 Pro experience the same thing. Even camera got blank and cannot turn on WiFi. Better get Samsung instead. Chinese phone nowaday has crappy durability.
