It's so refreshing to see Hadi winning. The man has been through a lot but never complained. He kept his smile and continue to work harder. Great story and well-deserved Hadi
that man is an inspiration

Disagree . Derek or simon should have won ..
@@AweSomo84 no
respect 😍
Would have loved to see Samson get a medal
And some money! Only top 5 got prize money it seems, which is BS.
He should have beat Ramy tbh
@@Tomn8er IFBB are cheapskates istg
@@Tomn8er Are you serious? Thats a travesty! I would understand if this was a 16-man Olympia, but Samson had to overcome like 25 other competitors to get that placing
He should've been 4th
A second callout analisis would be amazing Tom!
PS: I am a pretty recent subscriber and the fact that you are half retired breaks my heart, literally the best on the job...
It's crazy to think that Dexter Jackson made a video telling all the 212 guys to stay down in their divisions, and now they are steamrolling most of the top open guys in the world 😅
Could've been why he said it. 😂
Not most, ALL! Both Hadi and Derek come from 212
@@Dimitar94 Hadis been competing for quite a while. And most of the guys weren't at their best.
Ehhh, Ramy wasn't himself. Curry hasn't been at his best for a few years. Plus, Nicks still has time to get better.
@samraiz shoaib how does that negate the fact that the 212 guy just came in and destroyed. It's not his fault he is better
I cried when Hadi finally won. Loved how happy he looked
The way he holds his face is just most deserving for a cry don't know why
💐❤
A former 212 Mr.Olympia competetor went to Open Class and won the overall show .. What a great achievement for Hadhi Chopan ! And the reigning 212 Mr.Olympia champ placed runner up in the Open Class ! A great achievement for Derek Lensford.. Quality over quantity.. Well deserved placing for both of them.. One of the most exciting Mr.Olympia after years...
Lundsford midsection makes his back db look insane! I hope he can maintain it.
Hard to say in todays bodybuilding, the amount of stuff they take, they can easily blow out their waist. But I hope he keeps it too, he could be a very competitive mr o in the near future
Unfortunately his vaccum was deeper in the 212, not as deep here. Hopefully he can do better or maintain it
@@Jermoo_ Ofcourse it was, he was way flatter in 212 to make weight, so ofcourse he'd hit a deeper vacuum.
What an amazing lineup, probably the most competitive Mr O since the 90s
There was literally only 2 guys in the running, what are you talking about “most competitive” lol
What was wrong with Ramy,? Was he that bad or demoted for not been a representative of the sport. Not showing up for Jim Mannion ? I
@@CaseyKCRichards ramy, sadly, was lucky to even get fifth. Half his back has disappeared, his quads have divets, his arms are downsized, looks like his body is fighting back now. I hope he retires, for his health sake
@@deezelkane His biceps were ok, but his triceps disappeared.
@@deezelkane v sad that bodybuilders will do anything to win . Put they’d lived in the line
Agree with everything you said Tom. Hats off to hadi for bringing it. Nick has no chance so long hadi and Derek brings it. Ramy I do feel sorry for him, something more must have happened other than the shoulder injury, his weak points got worse, he even had problem walking by the looks of things, he also never had not been able to hold a pose, and he did. I’d be very interested to know what actually happened to him. But either way I feel like he should retire with dignity. Health to come first before anything
I feel sorry for him too, he’s such a likable dude
They dont want pure mass they want perfectly sculpted and conditioned to the bone. Its extremely competitive and the guys this size who had the lowest bodyfat and smallest waists have been winning. The league is making a clear statement it wants massive people for sure but not to the point of it being a big bubble gut party. At a certain point asking these people for more mass comes at a terrible price and becomes grotesque
Thank you for the video. These are by far the best breakdown videos I go to after shows.
Yeah i agree so much on the comment that the front lat spread for Walker is his kryptonite. I was rooting for him, but i dont know if there is a way he can deal with that pose
He’s too narrow with a wide waist!
The front lat spread is very much a structural pose. Nicks waist is too blocky and hes too narrow. It will never be a good pose for him.
It’s weird that he has such a weak rear lat spread when his back is so wide in the back double
He has to hit like bonac
I will always watch all your Olympia breakdowns I can't believe you're still the best
As always spot on commentary by the tomn8r. A true voice of reason in the bodybuilding community.
ive yet to see coverage of the Olympia as in depth as this, well done
Tomn8or always been the goat
Thank you so much for continuing to upload tom
I’m so glad you’re still covering bodybuilding. Although you’re not as big as the other guys I like your style the best
Great show! Thanks buddy!
Great commentary man love the video
Awesome analysis tom! Thank you for doing a deep dive for new bodybuilding fans!
Appreciate these videos
Thanks Tom, ALWAYS appreciate all your videos, kindest regards, Richard U.K
Always a pleasure Mr. N8er.
Always the best analysis.
Awesome breakdown! One of the best!
waiting for this analysis. thank you
Great video as always! Please cover the second callout, excited to see your 2 cents on rafael brandao next to the big guys.
Thank you for the review. Praying you cover the second callout too!
Imagine we had Flex Lewis there as well. The 212 guys are too good
And Shaun Clarida.
Was just thinking about this. Such a shame we didn't see Flex Lewis to his full potential size wise.
Been waiting since Jan. 1 for this video. From this content creator
Bc he's the best.
Great analysis as always 👍, Milos mentioned in an interview that samson was 294lbs on stage. I agree that he did look thinner and needed more muscle on some shots. Crazy to think he will be close to 300 on stage if not more to have the same density of some some of these shorter competitors
Nice analysis man! Awesome video !
Wow, Samson's a beast!! I hope he gets better muscle maturity in the next year, and when he does, this guy's gonna dominate!! His physique is very reminiscent of Lee Haney - beautiful muscle bellies, wide shoulders and small waist.
Look more like a bigger version of Chris Cormier!
One can hardly say anything more appropriate.
Small waist?? I must get my eyes checked
❤ SAMSON, he’s the Future - Mass with Class… HADI is ripped & 👑…. Nick is missing the FRONT LAT POSE & Rammys lower back is gone- not impressive anymore….curry is soft & Lunsford doesn’t have the deep muscle 💪🏾maturity of HADI deep muscle separation & shredds …. It’s time for shape & symmetry to make a comeback & Samson & Jacked are waiting in the wings …. 🎪Freak Rammy - weird quad BB is fading & the 🌍 can see his Synthol use …..Hadi will repeat
A second callout review would be really appreciated. Great stuff
I must say, I always get a buzz when I see you upload an analysis video. I’m not aware of anyone else on youtube that breaks down the shows and analyises them POSE FOR POSE, from an actual judging perspective. Others just give their opinion without real justification. Great work man, you are the best at this shit and I hope you continue to upload consistently.
Excellent breakdown, Tom!
Definitely would like to see you cover the second call out
Hey man I know you got tired of BB but I miss your analysis. You're like the most non bias and seem like you don't care about hurting ppls feelings. Good to have you back for this O!
Always appreciate your commentary Tomn8er 💯
They really gotta to stop them from stepping over the line. The problem is if one does it, everyone does. It's such a nonsensical and unsportsmanlike advantage. Also the lighting, background, video quality and camera angles once again were just plain terrible. This is supposed to be the pinnacle of bodybuilding and it's presented like an amateur show. It's so frustrating to see how much potential is wasted in every regard when you imagine how great this show COULD be.
best commentary by a mile, no one is even close
Great breakdown as always 👍I particularly liked the shout out to the judges and the point you make about judging on physique alone. Xavier over at Desktop Bodybuilding mentioned his preference for Derek because, among other things, he's religious and speaks English. Not quite sure what either of those things have to do with judging a bodybuilding contest.
😂
Great job mate
Missed your videos
Nicely done . New sub
You’re the best 💪
Please do an analysis for the 2nd and 3rd call outs, there is a lot of talent in those. As always, you are the GoaT
Even in Iran, he is from a very small village. I never thought they would make him win; it was more than hard work for him to give his best. I need to confess that watching this Mr. Olympic winner was a very emotional moment. Great respect goes to the Mr. Olympya judges who recognised bodybuilders' hard work. I wish he could make it again and again like Arnold Schwarzenegger. 🙏
Goated commentary
8:00 -- I really don't think, genetically, Nick can ever "fix" that front lat spread. I'm pretty sure he tried all year to practice this knowing this was his weakness, and it never did actually improve.
*front abs spread
This has been an insanely exciting Mr Olympia competition. The trophy was up for grabs and anyone stood a chance to take it. And we also see the new era of bodybuilding forming with the younger gen like Derek, Nick, Samson, and others like Blessing, Andrew Jacked etc. In the end, Hadi's victory was well deserved. He definitely earned it by being consistently bringing his A game every single year.
great video!
Thanks tomn8er, excellent analysis brother. Im so happy for Hadi, he's been knocking on the door so long and been placed lower than he deserved countless times. He looked amazing, his delts didn't look suspicious this year either, lol. Ramy def deserved 4th, I thought he looked better than at prejudging, noticeably so. The judges scored him better at prejudging, that's very odd to me.
Never liked immigrants 🥸🥸🥸🥸
Nice job Mater
Good analysis
Great show, outstanding results. What a Xmas gift these world class bodybuilder gave us!!
Great video
best commentary in the game
Great analysis, as always, Tom. Couldn't be happier for Hadi. Are you going to cover classic physique? If you could find time to cover the finals, it would be extraordinary.
Came for the one of the best commentaries
Tomn8er, we need a classic analysis too please
Congrats 🎊..Hadi.. and Congrats 🎊..Nick Walker Winning the People’s Champion Award 🥇💪
Thanks for the video,Iran❤America❤Hadi choopan😚
I love this account. Always happy when you post Tom!!
My brother Big Ramy, i have to give you an advice from my heart. Keep on training and take care of yourself and your family. You achieved a lot for bodybuilding and all the people around the world love you and cherish you. Bodybuilding is a hard sport and put the body under a lot of efforts, sarcrifice, determination, hard work, training, dieting and chemical products. You don't need this anymore, you are a great champion and you will stay all the time in our heart and soaul. Forget the competition, continue training and no competition it doesn't worth it. You are already a champion no many bodybuiders can say i WON M.OLYMPIA AND TWO TIMES IN A ROW since 1965.
How many bodybuilders in the history of bodybuilding can say i won M.Olympia and more tan that two times in a row. Brother, we're broud of you and all the things yo accomplished for yourself and body building community.
i'd love if you did all open callouts!
Love the video and I agree with you. I think Derek will be the first multi class olympia winner
00:43 for a second i thought that i clicked on a NSP video
Awesome vid! It would be really helpful if the names reappeared throughout the video, like they do at the start. It really helps a new viewer keep track of who you are talking about. Or even some sort of arrow or something pointing to the certain things you are calling out. i.e. "Half of his back is missing".
Livestream and low quality footage dont do justice for derek imo he looks soft in them but when the camera zooms in holy cow his details is so good!
Was a good competition, glad Hadi won. A few guys really caught my eye for the future, Samson, Andrew and Brandao. Brandao just looks amazing so sharp w wicked lines.
Those guys will never win Mr.O.
Krizo has the craziest upper body development I've seen in ages.
If he works on his quads. Future olympian that guy
I dont think politics were left at the door for ramy. I think the guest posing and lack of appearances hurt him. He was off by a larger margin last my year. It wasent till people saw his position on stage that we thought there was any trouble for ramy.. Dont get me wrong, I dont think he should have won last year to hadi, but he could have come 2-3 here. Reigning champ still brought the package he is known for, and did look better than last year overall package, to his credit. Just out of respect to the reigning champ, would have phased him out a little slower.. A melted phil heath came in third. A tattered up dorian kept winning years beyond what he should have. 5th place to ramy was dirty imo D:
I fully agree with you, twas a screwjob, and I'm worried Hadi might eventually suffer a similar fate, as that is easier to do to not-US Americans.
I think it was simply due to Jim Manion being pissed about how Ramy basically disappeared, especially from the Pittsburgh Pro while also taking so long to explain himself/apologize. The IFBB made an example out of Ramy on center stage. This was a warning to all of the other athletes. Don’t piss off the big wigs under any circumstances.
Hadi throwing it up in the air like Ronnie used to😂
Beauty prioritised as number 1 in the sport again 👏🏽👏🏽
You are the best
No way Curry wins most muscular with no leg separation (half the body) whatsoever. Hadi is so dense, separated and striated in that pose, it’s lights out.
I hope one like this for classic is coming too like your 2021 video
Hadi finally got the Sandow! Well deserved champion
man.. open was a trip this year
It was actually hard to watch Big Ramy struggle so much to pose. He looked so bad in so many poses.
so many manlets its crazy. hope new taller competitors come in and bring back the ronnie coleman era level lineup.
As an Iranian not only I am super happy that hadi won, I am also grateful that Mr.olympia provided a fair and non political opportunity and helped hadi to arrive at mr.olympia for the last few years. Great hosting. What made it even better was this years Olympia was very competitive and had lots of suprises
I could definitely see Lunsford putting on 10 pounds and going on a Phil heath type run and winning 5+.
Good comparison. Few years back when very few knew him, I knew Hadi would win title one or more than 1 time.
Samson looks crazy good. Think he deserves top 3
Good analysis, I agree. It just seems ridiculous to me that Brandon beat Ramy. No way.
So annoying that year after year camera is iPhone quality on the biggest show in BB and that there is 0 transperency on the placings.
Any plans on doing a Classic Physique review for 2022 Mr. O?
watching the finals was sad and happiness at the same time... The judges picked the right guys this year and great Critique @Tomn8er.. i agree with you.. sampson needs more size and conditioning.. Ramy needs conditioning and bring up his arms... Hadi;s calves suck compared to the rest of his body..arm length throughs off his front double.. Brandon needs conditioning and bigger fuller legs, Derek quads need more sweep...if he did that he could beat Hadi, Nick midsection :(
thx for your content, much appreciated! and yes, finally Hadi got it, as you have mentioned so many times in previous years.
I agree with your take on Nick being third because of his rear and front lat spreads, but it should have been closer between him and Derek, I think Nick had better condition overall especially in the upper body
Nick was definitely the driest here in the whole callout overall at the finals, but his weaknesses were so glaring in certain poses. Derek was more solid pose-for-pose and sharper from the rear, but softer from the front.
@@Tomn8er He can't do anything about his FLS I'm afraid, maybe he can do something about his BLS but from the front his structure, waste line, and big arms kind of counter the pose
In my opinion his legs looking really shitty from the front too really melted and awkward no sweeps from the side and back they're looking good tho
Hadi had the best midsection of them all and also kept his midsection flexed through all the poses most notably lat spread* from the front, all the other guys look like they have flat bellies but you can see hadi’s 8 pack perfectly. They will be midsection focused and they want slim waists like bumstead and for a phil gut to never make it to finalists stage again. 7:40 to see the front lat spread check the abdominals
Big fan of Walker - personally, my favorite physique of the bunch - but I can't be mad w the judges' decision.
🔥🔥🔥
I’m gonna say what I’ve been saying once I saw Nick this year. He needs to start coming in lighter until his muscle maturity is maxed. Once that happens, come in 10lbs lighter and it will improve his frame and waist. Hope someone in his camp or future camp tell him that.
Edit: just go look at him at his NY pro win. With his added tissue, and coming down in weight. IMO, the Mr O will be absolutely wild every year with Hadi, Derek, and Nick battling every year.
Will you review the classic physique?
Will you be doing a vid on classic?
Best analysis of pro bodybuilding. I’ve been in jail for the past 30 days unfortunately so I just checked this out(only got out earlier today…). Coulda checked Nicks S&P but @tomn8er does such a great analysis so I came here first! Great job as always!
Glad Hadi got it btw. I thought he won a couple years back for sure but I’m glad he took it this year.
grande Hadi . It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog
If Lundsford, at 29 years old, keeps up this trajectory, it’s lights out for several years.
I really love Nick, I think he has some of the best drive, passion, dedication etc in the business, but I think his overall shape and the (very few) weaknesses he has are going to hurt his chances at an Olympia title in the future. I hate to say that too because he really is incredible, but as long as he’s competing against guys who are also incredible, and have the better shape than him, he’s not going to win I don’t think.
I really hope he gets the lat spread figured out. I don’t see any improvement in that pose from last year.
If I remember correctly, his front lat spread at the Chicago pro (his pro debut I think) wasn’t near as bad. Maybe it’s to do with the extra muscle he’s packed on since that time? I don’t know lol I’m far from an expert, just a fan.
