I am beyond shocked about how awesome this Stella McCartney inspired bag came out!
I had never sewn leather before and I decided to go straight into this Falabella tutorial without even testing it before. You know those times when you just have a vision? I knew it would work!
And this DIY bag is so easy! So so so simple!
We are gonna see today how to make this gorgeous chain clutch that is gonna leave all your friends speechless.
you can make it as a leather bag, or also check in the links and buy vegan leather.
You can decide to use leather or Respect Stella McCartney believes and go for a Vegan-leather material, both results are gonna be stunning and I´m adding here below links of where to find both options.

The most important part of imitating a Stella McCartney bag is using synthetic leather. Maybe you use synthetic leather but you have to emphasize this point or people will misunderstand and use real leather. Always use synthetic materials.

You can use faux leather
Technically there is no such thing as vegan leather... it's all some version of polyurethane! Which the production of harms the environment! Soooo..... don't be a victim of greenwashing... just because something is vegan doesn't make it good for you or the environment... toxic waste is a real thing that hurts humans, plants and animals..... but I guess as long as it says vegan though..
It must be sooo hard to get it... u can use whatever the hell matherial you like 😈

Sorry , are you sure the fabric must be 1000cm x 45cm? isn't it too big 1000cm? Because 1000cm are like 10metres... It's taller than any of us xD

Actually the better PU substitutes for leather are much less damaging than real leather to process, {which uses much more highly toxic chemicals} and are more environmentally responsible not mention more compassionate. It is leatherlike and vegan... so I dont mind it being called vegan leather.

People need to chill about her using leather! Some people like the style and don't like the fact that it isn't leather. I mean I've owned a few Stella bags myself and to be honest they don't hold up and just doesn't last long compared to my leather handbags. And if she wants to have some fun while fulfilling her leather Stella inspired bag then who are you "fashion police" to judge? For those of y'all saying if you can't go vegan don't do the style-isn't fashion just about copying other trends? It's the market right now in fashion, and all of a sudden copying in your own home is so much more discreet than copying in a New York studio?
Bo Wang leather if cared for properly will last 100 years. I have many leather pieces in my collection that are between 80-110 years old. No fabrics could do that.

do you really need 2 chains of each 125cm? i can only see two chains in the whole video, one is a shorter one and the other one a longer one.. :)

Who cares if you use leather of pleather. It is up to you. I made one in Leather and it looks beautiful. I went to a trade Show and I sold 3 bags in leather.
I guess the animals and those who care about them and the toxic chemicals used to process leather care. I'm sure those who are more centered on themselves and who don't make the connection to suffering don't.

Can you do a tutorial on how to sew the chain on a bag like the falabella bag. I've looked and can't find a tutorial. Ty. Been dying to this bag in a buttery caramel tan leather with a zipper pocket and a slide in pocket. Maybe a mesh on the side for a small umbrella.

It's called a curb chain. The mm is probably 10 or larger!
