- Unboxing review of the 9” inch, Fixed Blade Knife from: FLISSA Knives. D-2 tool steel. True Scandi Blade. Green Micarta handle scales. Full-Tang construction. Leather belt sheath. A lot of Knife for Not a lot of money.
Great video! They are excellent knives 🔪👍
The steel is excellent, the grinds can vary in quality but for the price they are amazing and easy to sharpen and or profile.
I just put out a video , made new handles, and put it in a BPS dangler sheath.
I've been building knives with blanks for many years, and honestly, a D2 of this quality would usually run around $70 by other brands.
Mine looks a bit like the LT Wright Outback now 😆 I'm a Flissa fan , gonna buy a couple more for future builds . ...love those BPS sheaths also. 👍
I own a fillissa folder awesome d2
One of the sharpest blades ive received. It throws sparks like a dragon breating fire. I bought 3 of them
Lol, yes i bumped the blade and cut myself😂 super sharp
great knife at a greater price - order a tripod for the camera next
@@beargreasebrigade ,… NEVER! 👎🏻. 😅
As soon as you said D2 I completely lost interest, I didn’t want to know any more. If it was CPM D2 or PSB-27 I would still be interested, both of the latter steels mentioned are exactly the same recipe with finer grain structure. D2 isn’t a field steel in my opinion it’s too course grained and prone to chipping.
It seems others opinions disagree with your take. I believe D2 can be chippy but heat treated to a lower Rockwell for wood seems like a great choice.
It's probably still harder then esee which are very soft 56-58.
Plus this knife is $25 how many could you buy for one esee?
I've yet to see one bad review an that's with people actually using it. Just saying I don't have one yet.
I spent my money on BPS Aura in N690 it was $44. But actually $66 to the door by rowboat and bicycle. 😊
Buy civivi it's 40 bucks more an will last forever there nitro steel is really well
L take. Study materials
