The fact that the wolf is the only thing that's frame-by-frame animated gives it such and interesting sense of not belonging. Was that on purpose? It's pretty cool ☆
Where's the fame!??? Bro the art style you have with the song goes togather like cheese with pasta. The story is great and viduals look amazing I'm so surprised people aren't noticing you.
YOO- WHAT!? HOW- HOW CAN YOU BE THIS UNDERRATED AND HAVE SUCH GODLY TALENT??? I just absolut ADORE your style! It’s so unique, and the way you manipulate the backgrounds to become so eerie is inspiring! And rip the Raven :(((
Wow this is brilliant! The character designs, for a start, are epic. They drew me in right away. And I love your artstyle very much. The backgrounds look beautiful too and the composition of shots, transition of frames and movement of it all... plus all the colours work so well... AAH. I don't even know the story but your sheer talent with the art makes this really entertaining to watch, plus the story itself does seem interesting. I love this. Btw the black wolf thing really reminds me of my fursona so that drew me into I suppose haha. Great work!!
I'm back 😈😈 Time to say too much stuff. Btw when I point something out but I don't actually comment on it, that's meant to imply positivity, I just don't know what words to use to convey what I feel about it Firstly: 0:00 - 0:09 is so nicely animated, and you really timed it well with the song! I say this about the timing of the wolf's head coming onscreen in particular. I like how you had her narrow her eyes and then run offscreen. It's not perfectly timed with the song like the previous part, but that only adds to it. The way she leaves the frame is so smooth, I find myself impressed. The screen is framed by the plants and that already sets up the forest scenery. The colors also really fit the feel of the song and the video in general. It all feels like it belongs together in this way. 0:13 is fantastic. The spacing of the tree in the foreground, the ones in the background, and the moon is perfect. The moon as the O in Metaphor was unexpected but I like it :) The stars are spread out nicely as well and the clouds are really pretty! I like the way the characters are introduced at 0:27 -- without prior knowledge you already know that clearly they seem to get along well enough. The trees fading into the distance looks like fog. Adds to the eerie feel. 0:32 / 0:33 I really like the way you did his expressions here! At first he looked ready and self-assured, but as he turns he seems to get uneasy. The framing of 0:35 was fantastic. Emmy is visible, but her position hides some of her body and most notably her face, and nearly half of the screen is taken up by the trunk. She's not really hidden, but it still almost feels like she is. It lends itself to the mysterious aura surrounding the character. 0:38: not much to say that'd be new here but I just love this frame. Look at that blood!! At around 0:43 when Shev is smiling at Emmy (and again you can't see most of her - ominous) and then it shifts along with the music!! It took me a few watches to notice what appears to be more blood on her hands and skirt. Eek! This is the part where you start to go, okay, something suspicious is up with that lady 0:47 another great scenery shot. and the moon is now only halfway lit up instead of full :) 1:00 has 2/3rds of the screen covered and just the gap in the leaves showing through making the change to 1:05 an easier transition and it's also just a really cool visual! 1:05 again a shot from behind Emmy, her face is still not visible. At 1:11 we finally get to see her face again in a really well-drawn frame, unfortunately I can't read her expression that well without additional context. The very short-lived frame on "bones" was a very clever way to get across Shev's reaction, I think :) short, quick things always kind of give off that panic feel. At 1:13 his expression is so good! The angle of 1:15 is great because we can still see Shev's reaction, the most relevant thing right now, but the attention is mostly on the grave. At 1:20 it's very nearly from Shev's perspective but we still get to see part of his face. I like how his shadow falls on the body. 1:26 - 1:28: first, impeccable expressions here once again, also I just love the blood trail smeared with paw prints. 1:33 with the blood, 1:34 with the bird, 1:35 with Shev's reaction all in a short amount of time 1:38 feels so spooky!! The wolf is watching and he doesn't even know! The turn around into looking at the camera was so smooth, and then her jumping offscreen into the darkness that is the credits was both really well-animated and a beautiful transition! I like the yellow outlines over the black in the "credits" part, it's always a good pair of colors together please ignore that it took me a month to gather more words. All in all very impressive and a gorgeous PMV 👍
