      Trust no one completely, except God. Humans are imperfect, and all are subject to evil, at some point. It’s a decision. Liam made that decision for the supposed power that having money would give him. Wrong choice. How could Sarah be around these guys that long, and not see their character flaws?

      @Gigibaby88 Рік тому

      @@sexyimpostersyndromechick ty so much, that is much appreciated, truly. Honestly, despite it happening to me, I really can't fathom it or understand it either. The whole story is even way worse than what I wrote actually, I just severely condensed it so it wouldn't be so long. But yeah until going through that it never would've crossed my mind that someone so close to me would steal from me and attack me over $, that someone would put $ over a friend who had been there for them through so many things. When his mother died he wanted to go visit his father in FL (we were in NY) but couldn't afford air fare & didn't want to go alone. His wife couldn't go so he asked me to & I *really* didn't want to b/c he wasn't planning on stopping along the way & I can't really fall asleep in cars. But I knew he was having a really hard time & didn't want him to have to go alone so I said yes. The trip was absolutely horrible for me, it started with me getting a migraine from not sleeping & throwing up from it on the side of the road and only got worse from there. But I endured it all b/c I wanted to be there for my friend & there had been so many other smaller instances than that too, where I put myself 2nd b/c I thought he needed me (& to be fair he was there for me many times too. But that's what got me the most, how could he not even think about how many times I'd put him first when he needed me? I esp thought of that trip because it had been relatively recent and clearly I was suffering during it but I didn't once complain because I knew it was about being there for him. After everything happened with him stealing from me and attacking me, etc a good friend of mine said she'd always noticed that he seemed very controlling over me and I was so surprised but when I thought about it more it made sense & there were just things I hadn't wanted to see. It helped me understand that there were red flags all along coming from him that I either just didn't see or chose not to see. Still, if you're a sensitive, empathetic, caring person who values their friendships there's just no way to know until something like that happens. And I have healed from it and am still continuing to but I'm certainly not very trusting any more which kind of makes me sad.
      Omg I'm so sorry, you were just being nice and I wrote a freaking novel, more than I even wrote the first time around. I'm sorry about that! I think it was just really on my mind today. Thanks for reading it if you managed it ☺😬 all the best to you 💙

      The cops wouln't have paid any attention if he had reported it. Teenage boys, into horror and violence, Liam was always trying out film ideas on Anthony so there's no reason why he should think this was anything more than a story idea. Especially since Liam was supposed to be such good friends with Sarah. Anthony obviously never had a second thought about it until he heard about Sarah's car on the bridge.

      Please have some empathy, that poor guy probably has to live thinking "what if..." for the rest of his life. Also, even if he had told the police/family, what could they have done to prevent this? Probably nothing would have changed, sadly.

    and shoutout to rachel for always covering new jersey true crime cases! this one and stephanie parze. i never see my state covered, and not bc there’s not murders here.. i just guess the more intense cases are in other states. which is good lol. anyways, i do appreciate it, rachel! it’s good for me to realize that this could be me and it’s easier to see that when i see cases of places i drive through all the time. it’s good to always be aware and watch your back at all times.

    The Equalizer movies... In the movie Denzel Washington pushes the stopwatch on his watch before he kills someone. Obviously, can't say that this was the inspiration, but as soon as you mentioned timing it, that movie is the first thing I thought of.

    I think the most disturbing aspects of this case is that her killer was her best friend and that he was so nonchalant in describing it all. Money changes people, people kill for it all the time but for me money brings too many problems. I am happy with my simple life, I am far from rich but I'm happy. Thanks again for bringing these victim's stories to the light. I pray for her family and hope they can get the closure they need.

    The fact that he timed the strangulation is horrendous, it makes me feel like he thought it would quick and easy and if it were he probably would have done it again and again...he didn't think she would have that much fight in her...he thought he could easily get to work after killing his friend because in his mind with his "super human strength" he thought it would take 2-5 min to kill her. He is one of the worst kinds
