Don't worry if your baby can't roll on both sides. Every baby develops at different rates providing it's not an obvious sign for example "not being able to hold his/her head up at age 6 months".
Yes every baby develops at their on pace but if a 6mos old can’t hold its head up that’s a red flag. They should start holding their head up at 4mos. At 6mos they should be able to hold their head up & control their head at that age
I am really enjoying this phase, my twin boys just turned 7 months and they already have two teeth.. one started crawling, they are definitely banging items and grabbing everything! Everything goes to the mouth! Rolling too much lol... and babbling! I love seeing them develop.
my baby is 6 months, he's not sitting up yet without support. not crawing either but you can leave him standing if he's holding on to something. he's 9kg.
Great video. Me and my 6 month old watched it together. She must've thought it was interesting because her eyes didn't peel away from the screen at all!
Same! My 6 month old is very advanced as well. He could hold his head up from day 1 he was sitting up at about 3 1/2 months and holding his bottle at about 2 months
My 6 month old isn't crawling, sitting or rolling over yet. She rolls onto her side, and back shuffles that's it. She's on baby food now, which never had a problem weening her. Everything else I think she's up to date with.
My now 7 month old has rolled over from both directions maybe 3 times. He can’t stand it. He fusses and cries the entire time. (He always has during tummy time.) I play with him on the floor every day to try to encourage him to roll at least from side to side, but all it does is make him cry. Crawling? No way. He can sit unsupported and supports his weight when standing, but I can’t get him to stay on his stomach at all. It’s very frustrating.
I had a tough time with tummy time, try to give them toys while they're on their tummy to make them calm and interested. I think that really helped a lot!
He’s 9 1/2 months old now and is army crawling all over the place. 😊 His pediatrician says no need to worry, he’s passing every major milestone with flying colors, it’s just that some babies don’t crawl like others.
I'm learning so much from your videos! You are amazing !!! My baby is at 6 months 2 weeks currently I'm weaning him, he's doing all sorts of things . Keep them up X
My 6 month old. Used to be very chatty with others but now he does care to talk back or babble back. I am a bit worried. He is saying his baba n oh n making sounds but when you talk to him he does babble back much. He is absolutely up to par with everything else to. He sits up crawls literally everything except trying to carry on conversation with you.
Hi Neiasha! Thank you so much!! Typically the developmental videos are done in 2-3 month increments just because it is sometimes difficult to gage the difference between a 6 month old and a 7 month old. They are largely working on/mastering the same milestones. Tomorrow I will be posting a 9 month developmental video. You will know what is coming up shortly for your babe! :)
Does ah and ga count as babbling? My son will say ga just not repeat it like gagaga he will just randomly several times through out the day say ga or ahga

In general you would expect similar milestones based on a preemie’s Adjusted age (ie. when baby would be 6 months if they had been born in their due date), beyond that the baby’s own doctor should tell you if they are developing on track.
@@endlessserenade4491 oh he can no problem at all, he did around 7 to 8 months! So don’t worry 😉 I guess every baby has his or her own time to do things 👍
@@endlessserenade4491 My boy is about to be 10 months old and babies usually crawl at this time but he isn’t doing it! So I guess some babies are late starters 😊
I wonder how much tummy time and time to play on the floor you were giving your baby? Yes, babies develop at their own rate, but I know someone who carries her baby around all day (and others who leave their babies in devices like swings and car seats almost all the time)- he is about 3 months older than my baby but my child is way ahead of him developmentally- both motor skills and social/emotional.

This is so good to read. My boy is 6 months. Doesnt roll but sits up independently. A nice reminder that every baby develops differently ❤

Hi there! Good question! Babbling would be stringing those sounds together "babababa" or "gagagaga".
Thank u!

My baby is not interested in food😢😢😢
My baby is 7 month old, he cannot bear weight on his legs? Is it normal?
7 month old babies should definitely be able to bear weight through legs when held upright.
Thank u for the what to watch out for.
